I heard in local someone talking about what happen to him in battle. Seem he lock on to someone he was at war with and could not do a thing, could not shoot or move or any think and lost his ship.
Someone said the other guy use a hack and to report as a bug.
I know what hacks are but ummm as I know ccp wont let it happen, can someone explain to me what it means.

Sounds more like a whiner that got lagged, rather than "1337 h4x."

a) he could have lagged client side esp if on dial up
b) perhaps the enemy had him warp scrambled - target disruptor - sensor dampened and webbed and perhaps NOSesd
If he was in a large scale fleet battle then it would have lagged anyway (CCP deny this happens however) he wont get reimbursed it isnt a hack as such but just old fashioned lag

I understand it was a one on one, but there had been some lag before hand and loads go dc, kept coming back then dc over and over for about 10 mins. Dont know if that means a thing.

well there are also been lots of things unrelated to CCP ie internet service providers in the US i think having all their clients over their network backbones suddenly being logged out of eve - ie 9000 players in one go. That could be the cause of yorue problem its nothing to do with eve but somewhere on the hardware that runs a part of the internet connections out in cyberspace suffered some disruptions

Wow so poor sod whot get a new ship as that down to lag.
Best naver get in a fight when eve vvery laggy then
