Spungwa	Posted - 2005.11.17 12:50:00 - [3] the combat logs are stored in the eve file on your harddrive, cant remeber exacly where but there is a folder called logs i think, its in a different folder to chat logs. try the cache folder. definately there i have used it only last week. it is an exact copy of the ingame one but obviously in notepad format. Not all hits in combat are logged, only the ones that display on the screen - you know, that "your tech 2 womble cannon perfectly strikes A Poor N00b, wrecking for .3 damage." I've certainly noticed it shows a lot more entries than it did before.

Com Cam	Posted - 2005.11.30 23:27:00 - [15] Unless the OP is talking about something different...the "Combat Log Analizer" is a product of "Future Falcon Enterprises" the same people who brought you the "Character Manager" and "Ship Fitting Tool" (Virtual Ship Yard?). This handy tool did not require you to go into the "guts" of the Eve cliant to find your combat logs, the program did it for you. As I remember the tool working, you could search for your combat logs by time / date / ship involved. The data given included damage you inflicted as well as damage your ship recieved. It would give information as to who you were fighting, the weapons used, I think when, and I do not think it told you where the combat happened. All of this was downloadable from the "Eve-I" site. Now this site is down, I do not know where to find any of these programs. I hope someone can find these programs as I would love to get them again. I lost them when I went to Iraq and would love to get them reinstalled. "Always maintain a rigid state of flexibility"

Usually the files are 1-2 KB, a combat log will be noticeably larger even if it was a short encounter.
