Hi all,
My corp runs a program whereby we all attain the same set of skills for combat, regardless of role. I was wondering if there's a place anywhere where I can buy skill books in one place? Right now I'm stuck out at the **** end of minmatar space and if I buy the books I'm probably looking at spending a day jumping around to pick em up!
thank you |

If your corp has such a program they should also buy the skill books in bulk and haul them to your base, giving them out or at least selling them at cost price to members. Ask them about it.
Other than that: most skill books can be bought at any "university" station. (Those belonging to the learning corps.) Especially basic skill books. But some of the more advanced skill books cannot. Especially books for Tech 2 weapons.
You could fly to a trade hub (Rens or Hek for Minmatar) where you should find all skill books, but that's probably more expensive than shopping around. How much more expensive? Varies. I've seen anything from slightly cheaper to a 300% overcharge. |

As Thomas said you will find most at any university station. I think most starter systems have them, and if not just look up a few skills on the marked, and you should be able to see if there is a station/system were you can buy all of them. If you are having trouble finding a uni station, look at the skill in the market and find the sell orders with quantities of 555 or 595 (I think). They are NPC's and will always have stock of the skills at those prices, and you can usually find most skills at those stations. Bienator II: "You can identify eve players by looking at their cars. Since they don't drive what they can't afford to lose." I play in highsec. |

As skillbooks are an NPC-sold commodity, such orders always run for 365 days (less a few hours) as opposed to player-created orders which only run for 90 days maximum.
