Although if your computer could run 64bits and not 3 years old chances are your hardware are popular ones with popular x64 drivers.
Radeon, Forceware, Logitech, Creative, unless you have brandless hardware you should find drivers for them

There's a surprising amount of stuff that doesn't have x64 drivers yet. I discovered there are no drivers for my TV card (or any BrookTree/Connexant based ones, with is to say almost all of them), none for my Epson C60 and 760 printers, and only a basic driver for the SoundBlaster 24.
It's a fine games platform, though. Every single game I tried worked just fine on it

its not component drivers that are the *****. its other stuff: printers, scanners, virtual drives
but yes, i'm running xp64, with up to 3 eve clients going at once (not all on TQ tho) it runs just like it did on pro - no noticable change in performance

Works fine for me. Yes, drivers are annoying. My all-in-one fax/scanner/printer? It sorta prints now.

The only problem I have with x64 is some compatibility issues with webcams and some older sound cards. But eve runs great.

So, is there actuall a performance improvement or is it just a novelty move at this point? I have one and would have to load the software...is it worth it (I run two clients) KOZKAOS |
