2 things are missing that are IMHO sorely needed.
1) A time stamp indicating when the XML was generated.
2) The current SPs in the skill that is being trained because currently there is no indication of the progress.
Thanks ---------

What does character timeInCache represent? I looked at the XML a long time ago and I seem to remember there was a way to figure out how long the skill had been training, but I had thought it was a timestamp of when the skill was started in the skill itself, but I don't see that now. I was thinking maybe it was timeInCache instead, but that number seems to change too fast for it to be the time remaining or passed. Maybe it's in milliseconds or something, but it doesn't seem to work out either way. ---

I believe the timeLeftInCache number is how long in milliseconds it is before cached character information will be updated to reflect any in-game changes. timeInCache is how long it has been since the last update. Both numbers added together come to one hour.
Regarding #2, current SPs are represented in the <skillpoints> element for each skill. The currently training skill has always had a value of 61 for the <flag> element whenever I have looked. |

The the skill that is currently being trained shows the SPs before training started so there is no indication of the progress.
When I wrote my mini skill planner against the original XML format there was more information about the skill being trained including the completion time (GMT).
The latest generation of XML data no longer has it and that is why I'm asking for more information to be made available to the tool developers, just a couple of fields and I would be more than happy. ---------

Edited by: Namarus on 19/11/2005 22:03:38 Well tbh it would be nice if the character info actually displayed the correct attributes.
I've filed a bug report a while ago, and still no action on the damn thing. It still doesn't display +5 implants or factor them in on calculations for attributes.
