Just got offered this mission for first time and am a little unsure as to whether i will be able to handle it solo in my apoc. So far managed to do rogue drone harrassment, duo of death, infiltrated outposts etc solo but not sure if these are the easy missions compared to Angel extravaganza. Anyway can use all t2 lasers (megabeams, tachyons and megapulses), plus use faction smartbombs, ts large armor repairers. Wondering basically if a solo apoc can handle this mission and if so which setup should i be going for, the megapulse + tank setup, or tachyon sniping setup ???. Also any idea of timescale to complete the mission, thanks for any advice in advance. |

Never did in an apoc (gallente pilot) so cant help on specific setup; i've soloed it in a normal mega with good gear (pretty much yours) in little less than 4hrs (back when the distances between gates were higher); soloed recently in GN Mega with officer gear in little less than 2hrs.
With 2x 55% explo, 1x55%therm, 1x55%kin 1x22.5% all and 155hp/s repped you're more than fine, any grp wont be able to break your tank.

what did you use to tank the sansha duo of Death?

This for me was the toughest mission in a apoc.
Damn gist seraphims and the boss at the end are highly EM resistant. I had to get in drone range with an AB to kill them.
It took me far too long
Sniping with tachs may be a viable option but you still need a decent tank and anti frig as you get insta aggroed on the last level by 2 bs and a scrambling frig or 2.

You should be able to do this in an Apoc. needs good tank though. First gate is crazy. I needed at least 4 warp outs. Following gates is slightly easier. I did this in a Dominix, almost only T2 stuff, so I don't see why an Apoc shouldn't. The question is if it's worth the time.

Did this in my Domi recently using all T1 stuff, apart from 2 LAR II's. Went over the time limit due to RL commiements, but would up with 20m ish in bounties and the loot.. Ah the loot... a few named bits surreounded by basic crap. Worth the effort? maybe....
