A few people besides myself have bought spirits only to be told that the item is "illegal stuff" on reaching the buying station.
Now I understand thats because of the faction, the station belonging to Ducia corp which is of Amaar faction even though it resisdes in caldari space...
BUT I don't understand why the buy order is there if they cannot buy it?!?!?! I mean why have an impossible to fill buy order?!
So is there anyway to sell to these guys or not?
I've tried searching the knowledge base but can't find anything.
Any info would be greatly apreciated as I just dropped 20 mil isk in spirits =/

This is a bug thats been around for years.
It really catches a lot of unattentive first-time traders

I got stung with that in my early trading days too. Back then there were a couple of nearby systems where you could sell them off and at least break even or take a slight loss.
It's really about time that bug was fixed. You could try a petition to bring it to the attention of the Dev's again. Though its obviously not a priority, It's been around for a long time. Buyer beware I guess.

Petition all day long nothing going to happen.
It's just a very lame bug that they've left in the game.
When I did it, I was in solitude and if you don't know solitude region, there are only two ways out. 11 jumps through 0.0 pirate alley, or stright into Amarr space where spirits are contraband.
When I did it, I petitioned and it got sent to email GM. Later, 3 days later I get a lame autoresponse that used some type of key word search that informed me on how to buy and sell at the station.
I responded back that I would appreciate it if they actually read completely, my petition, which specificaly asks "Why does a station have buy orders out for goods it will not buy?". This time I get the stupid lame answer from GM. "You can haul it to another station".
Which again, doesnt' answer a very specific question I posed. I responded. "Please read my petition fully and understand my question before answering".
I get a near identical copy of the last message.

I think we need to start a group petition on this topic, or get some sort of official answer out of CCP because it's just plain wrong.
Buy order at a place that refuses to buy it!
I've tried it with black market trading skilled character. I've got 1.68 standings to Ducia Foundry.
Still doesn't work.
Do I need perfect standings with them?
At least if we get some sort of offical answer, even if it doesn't answer our questions exactly, it might help. Because right now it just makes no sense.

Yeah, but you didn't have to bump every one  .
Thread necromancy 4tl. Yes I know its an issue, and it should be dealt with. Bumping old threads will just get the mods on you though.

Possibly increasing your faction wiht the amaar corp will result in you being able to sell the illegal stuff to them via their buy orders?
