From what I've seen? No. Plain and simple most people do not get their stuff back once it's been lost to bugs. But it couldn't hurt and at least you know you tried. And o, by the way I'm a victim to losing my stuff to a bug too.
I would rather die a free man than live as a slave. |

you will probably have more luck in sending smoke signals.. and get as much satisfaction. Don't waste your time... if you've lost stuff due to a bug.. it's gone and you won't get it back from a GM or otherwise. Next time buy insurance if you will be in an unsafe area to protect your hindquarters... I learned the hardway too.. sorry to tell you that.

Yeah well sometimes insurance doesn't even help. Case in point, losing stuff due to the courier mission name restiction bug!

insurance doesnt cover the uber gears i lost neither and oh i did have insurance.

You only get stuff back if you're friend with a GM, so... go make some friends I guess.

Blame the economy for outrageous prices on outfitting your ship.
If people didn't have so much isk nobody would ask 8M for a single bloody gun.
Thats why I use a Blackbird with mostly market-bought equipment for fighting - cheap and versatile.

OK, I am getting sick of the GM/Dev/CCP Employee bashing. I have so far posted 5 petitions in the game. The first 2 came from me being stuck in station, both times I was unstuck within 30mins. The second 2 were due to plastic wrap issue with items dissapearing, it took a little while (4 days) for the GM's to reproduce the problem, but in the end they could, and I got my stuff back. My last petition was about an agent bug, and I was contacted within a day about it.
What am I trying to say? The GM's have been nothing but great in their responses to me. So if your nice to them, explain your problem in full, and have a little patience, they will help you as much as they can.
Cheers to GM Raven, CM Maag, and GM Tricore for a job well done.
(and no I am not trying to suck up to them, they were kind enough to help me out, so I thought they deserved some nice words rather than the flames they normally get)

Don't petition it, it's waste of time and will change your picture of the GMs drasticly making your agressive in future petitions  .
