ok.. ive said it befor, but the Mamoth just looks more like a Combat ship than it does a Industry ship, and the typhoon looks more like a Indy than a Combat ship. Wouldnt it be neat if when they finaly bring out T2 BS's if the mamoth was 'reborn' as one?

I agree on the point that the Typhoon looks more like an industrial and the Mammoth more like a fighter. But its to late to just "switch" now, would be to confusing.

Mammoth as the Tier 3 BS would be great. Ever heard of Q-Ships?

its never to late =) *chuckles* would be a suprize to pirates though if they jumped a mineing camp only to see what they though was a freighter open up on them with 720mm arty's =) could even make a type of storyline of the Minmatar's realizeing the typhoon was a old design concept and 're-commissiond' the old retired BS back from industry dutey back into combat duty (the mammoth)

You'll notice that a lot of faction ships are based on standard tech 1 ships. Now, if you have a look at the Machariel(sp), it bears a striking resemblence to the Mammoth!

the engion compartment does.. but tahts all it shares with the Mamoth... im talking about a strait 'rebirth' from indy to Combat ship... keep it looking the same (maybe change its armor plateing color, but shapewise keep it the same) and bring it out as a t3 cruiser or t2 BS.

Yes, teir 3 BS should be ultra heavy troop transport battleships built on an industrial hull. Add to the model battleship sized engines and armored plates. Would be friggen cool.

thats the thing though, aside from maybe giving it a new paint-job.. you dont have to change ANYTHING about the look of the Mamoth, it already looks like a combat ship. which is why ive always been suprised that its a indy and not a minmatar battleship.

Most certainly agreed there. . ----- Apologies for any rambling that may have just occurred.

ARe you guys all looking at the same mammoth I am? Its long, oblong, and divided into curiously cargo-container like boxes - almost like it had big bulging holds... looks like a damn indy to me. The phoon on the other hand has a dronebay like thing going on,and big panels for guns and ****. Seriously, you're probably the same wackos who though the Providence looks more like a dread than the Revelation... ---:::---
