had to eject from my battleship for a sec, thought all was safe as long as I had it locked up
I finished up and got back in, then noticed it was locked up the whole time.
(locking up a ship no longer prevents someone from getting in)

Just to clarify (I came back to the game relatively recently after a break), locking your ship with your pod after ejecting prevents third parties from boarding it? |

I've run tests, and if an empty ship is target-locked, that prevents anyone other than the last pilot aboard (presumed to be the owner) from boarding.
