Urgent action required 07:00 hours Monday
Tonight a combined force of Ushra'khan, Electus Matari, and other local residents assualted the pirate base in Siseide Planet IX moon 1 and it is now in re-inforced mode. Sensors show that it is due to become an active target on Monday morning at approx 07:00
We call on all available anti-pirate groups in the area to converge and destroy this nest of evil.
Please note that the structure is very well defended and we would not recommend approaching with less than 20 battleships.
The structure is as follows: Medium Gallente Tower. 2 Large Rails. 3 Medium Rails. 2 Small Rails. 1 Torp Launcher 22(!) Warp Scramblers 6 Dampeners 1 Stasis Web
Sadly most Ushra'khan pilots are not available at this time but we wish any group well in attacking this blight on the Minmatar borders.
Thanks go out to all who participated in tonight's operation.

Indeed the losses were worth it. Piracy cannot be tolerated and this battle is one that concerns all peaceful residents of Heimatar.

Unfortunatly, Most Empire Mafia Pilots are sleeping or working at 7:00 am.. well eastern time..
Can you specify the timezone? If we are available we will certainly assist our friends in the Pirate Coalition in defending their station.
If it's after 4:00 pm Eastern standard time, then contact Blargle ingame.

Most exciting part of night was scooping the loot cans afterwards, even if most of it junk (no surprise from minmatar tree huggers) ...I guess thats just the pirate in me though

Was bloody good fun uh.

I'd just like to point out to all the flame bait posting twerps, that this is actually the second Snuff POS. The first one went down pretty easy.
If the Snuff guys who were actually there can acknowledge it was a good fight, why bother to post and call us n00bs?
We put a fairly difficult pirate POS into reinforced mode while it was being defended (we achieved our goal), its just unfortunate that the thing becomes active and ready to attack at a time when our alliance is low on numbers.
Yes we lost a lot of support frigs/cruisers
Yes we lost a few battleships (i'd guess at 2-4)
But having said that, we got at least one pirate bs, and several cruisers/frigs. (all while tanking the pos)
As far as I'm concerned this was a good time for all who were there.

Assaulting such a POS with BS is pure suicide. We have assaulted a med pos with 3med/3small guns and it took us more than 10 hours to bring it down. People were warping in/out cause you can't possibly tank more than 2-3 shots from the guns, even if you're hardened to the teeth.
Simply put, that thing can 1-shot any battleship with the large guns. We had the meds hitting us for 5 damn k on their good shots. And those warp scramming thingies make sure noone escapes. This could be circumvented by extreme sniping since afaik they have 150km max range.

Our intell shows that the pos will infact come out of reinforced mode later tonight (buggy timer I guess). We lost a few ships, as did you. But we did put it into reinfoced mode in the space of an hour. When in reinforced mode we cant shoot it. So we achieved as much of a victory as is humanly possible untill the thing becomes ready to shoot again.

err the POS is in re-inforced mode after our attack, and at the time it said that the POS would come out of that mode at a time when our forces are not around. As it is that timer has now changed and the POS is ready for attack tonight. Yesterday and today you have been dismantling it.
Where did anyone claim a victory?

I have never heard Humpee spout anything other than smack, lies or negative and trolling comments. Can your CEO not impose some sort of gag order on him? He drags U'K down and that takes some dragging IMO.
UPDATE: Moon has been sucessfully redeployed. Attacks thwarted!
The U'K attack was well planned and well executed, your BS'es did very well, I would have preferred a more favourable result for us however we were also very short on defending forces at such short notice. It was a good result on an unusually set up POS and good defensive tactics in the face of the defending forces. Your frigs and other assorted ships were wasted within the first twenty minutes if my memory serves me and then BS swarm stood their ground very well, I think we only got four / five. Did the Phoenix stay for the whole battle? I was forced out by excessive lag.
(BTW don't get ideas, I still harbour an immense amount of hatred for U'K, I'm just stating facts about a well executed attack.)

First of all, the only enemies you are likely to get are roleplayers because no one else is interested in such conflicts. It is either alliance vs alliance and open season on pirates, pirates vs miners and passers by or roleplayers vs pirates.
Take this as an example. You are pirating in Minmatar space. We are pro-Minmatar roleplayers... where do you expect us to go? It falls in line nicely, and we are anything but self-rightous. At least in real life anyway because it is only a game. Our characters might come off as such, but thats the roleplay angle and if you fail to understand that then I am wasting my breath.
And one more thing to people calling Anti-Pirates everything under the sun. Just because we are anti-pirate in a roleplay mode, doesn't mean we are all whiny and thing that Pirates should not be allowed in EVE. If anything else, most of us feel that Pirates should be encouraged in EVE because the provide an aspect of gameplay and danger for everyone that makes life in EVE interesting. But that doesn't mean we should not fight them does it? Pirates can do what they wish for all I care, but I don't expect to see them moaning or smacking about how lame we are for fighting back because in this jungle, everything is fair game.
(Edit) Ohh yeah, and how can we destroy something that is in reinforce mode? When did we claim this as an ultimate victory? We claim success only in putting it into reinforce mode despite your opposition, and for the most part, without our Dread pilot, and over 92% of the fleet were still alive at the end. Get your facts straight because this is far from over. (I am sure you would be upset it if were too.)

I think it was all pretty well done.
Snuff did well to try and fight us, even though it was more annoyance then anything else (found out that bumping into a pos force feild when warping seems to bounce ya off pretty frickin fast. HAppened to me when i first came in, but was lucky enough to get out before they killed me, unfortunatly Alex wasn't so lucky.)
We had some scary moments due to the lag, at one point Zool, was too far from the reppers and was going down, but was lagged and didn't know he was to far, so there was a rush to go in and save him :)
The dread gotta CTD fairly early on in the battle, and was unable to come back in. But due to being in combat the ship was in space for the the whole 30min till it left i believe.
We managed to take out a few of yours, and you managed to take a few of ours, so that was well done.
We learned a few things from this fight
A) CCP hate us :). There has been quite a few timer problems when we have been fighting pos's.
B) seems you CAN remove things while a pos is in re-inforced mode... which i believe is kinda crappy, because the defender HAD to have lost the first battle, else the pos wouldn't be in re-inforced mode... The timer should be there to allow them to put in fuel, and gather people for defense when the pos comes outta re-inforced, but thats a topic for another thread really
c) Spys suck. Pretty plain and simple there :)
d) you need ALOT of firepower to take on a med pos if you don't have a dread. I think the best hit i saw on use was somewhere around 6k, best on me was 1.6k and worst by the pos was about... 750 i believe (might be mistaken there)
And just so everyone knows.
YES we DID take out the control tower, but that was all, because snuff had removed everything from that pos. As well, IF they did set it up somewhere else, it wasn't in that system.
So, So hopefully that has cleared things up for everyone.
And hopfully no one trys to flame this because i believe i have been pretty fair in this report.

Hmm, his intel departement has left the Huzzah's since then he doesnt even get the newspapers.
Let me lay it out for you Hans. The operation "burn providence" or "providence must burn" lasted exactly one week.
And it is over since quite a while.
Now dont insult me (or yourself) by saying you couldnt feel the difference since end of that operation and now..
If you admit you didnt feel the difference, then it means our sparetimepilots manage to keep up the pressure and bring down pos after pos in your region also without major logistics and planning..
if you change your mind, and admit to recon the difference since a few weeks then it becomes clear that your little comment here was just an attempt to shoot your own knee

Congrats against the pirate POS, nice job.
Oh ok, well you put some small POS in reinforced mode that's to be sure and then we put them in storage with the larger POS as they are clearly not able to withstand a multi BS remote repping fleet. Congrats on that I suppose.
Well yes there is a difference as apart from a few skirmishes Ushra'Khan have disapeared from the areas of Providence, Domain and Tash-Murkon, although you are still paying to war us in empire.
Anyway if you've dealt with your local pirates for now I guess we'll be seeing you in space then when you come down to split our alliance with CVA and then wipe them out, oh as well as crush Royal Fleet Aux on the way.

Hmm, sounds like a good plan :o)
I am not quite sure yet if the local lowlifes have given up, at least they were fighting back and giving us a much harder time than you did, when we approached their POSs..
Seeriously, for filthy pirates they were doing great and dont fall back to whining after this loss.
So, maybe they have not given up yet - time will tell.
Huzzah will always be a 2ndary target, CVA is the prime target - PIE moved back to empire binding our fleet here, we got a couple of new enemys like the 1st pretorian guard, aparrantly hard-assed slavers ..
hell, yes we are busy and we are only a few hundret after all...

Snuff, lost a control tower worth a few millions, that is hardly enough to make us give up UK lost 4-5 battleships and alot of smaller objects if i'm not mistaken.
We will continue to infest your backyard when we want to.
Cheers !

U'K's losses far outweighed our own.
They may have achieved in destroying their intended target but it was a financial victory for us with them losing, I would approximate, at least three times the ISK we did.
Business as usual.
This makes me happy.

Aww Hans, you miss us? Bless ya. Good little scrap with your lads last night btw (yes this is an OOC forum so i can talk OOC nicely). The frig fighting is vastly underestimated, i fecking love it.
Dont you worry my little cherub, i know pirates are boring to fight. We shall enlighten your days soon. As im sure you'll enlighten ours.
If you could leave us handy markers to where you actually are tho, that might help.
RFAUX are interesting tho, they dont want war, but their CEO seems to derive pleasure in making the situation worse and worse for them.
Still, at least you have come together eh? :) Happy days ! -

Business as normal is us busting your safe spots and pirates complaining about it, so i'm happy too
