here come`s a badly debated one.... my aim is to make a snipe ship wich can hit IN OPTIMAL at 150-160 km.... and make some decent damage :PPP like kill frigies shuttles and some .. cruisers .. crapy one`s :P my first ideea is logicly the typhoon the plus 50% .... on range make it.. sound nice BUTTTT munin... is like a little devil from hell.. i mean damage on taht.. it *****`s a raven up... but can anyoane reach 150-160km optimal with that... ohh and last option im thinking of a scorpion with RAILS equiped with lot`s of tracking enhancer`s and about 6 tracking computer`s and 2 sensor bootser t2.. I`m open to any sugestion`s :D

Mega with T2 450s, sensor booster, tracking comp and damage mods. Nuff said. This is already in another thread, look around, esp in ship setups

450's?! Me wanty :P
You wont get 160 with just tracking comps. Your lows will have to be at least 4 tracking enhancers to get decent ammo. The closer range ammo gives better damage than longer range w/ more damage mods.

Eagle: 4x 250mm rails 2x tracking computer II's 3x Sensor boosters 4x tracking enhancer II's
with iron gets you 198KM optimal with iron, and 213KM locking range. You can use less ranged ammo such as...thorium I think...and still effectively snipe.
yes yes...I know you'll only really get shuttles and pods, maybe a tech I hauler with no instas.
but its fun.

And then incomes a tempest which has half as many sp as you, fires 1 volley off and no more eagle due to the sheer luck of getting 6 100 wrecker perfects :D

The typh doesnt do enough dps to be a good sniper. The mega is still king, imo :P

im tryng... empire.. sniping. at 0.4 0.3 gates.. soo the iddeea is mega.. just wont handle it
