Greetings all,
90 day time codes here. I have only 6 of them, so I will have to limit these sales. First 6 get them.
Don't try to scam me, it isn't worth it, already lost one time code in game to some scammer, who convinced me to 'give it to him first' now I won't be so damn gullible.
First time code will go for 50 million less, so I get some interest, and a positive feedback.
after the first sale *posted here* the others will sell for 250 Million ISK.
Those people who have a problem with what I am doing, will have their posts removed and see that the Moderators hand them a warning.
Hopefully the first 1 or 2 sales will put your minds at ease if you yourself are worried about scamming. Also, 1 time code per person please. I want to be able to have linkage to this post later, and one person buying them all will not help me there.
Happy Buying |

Edited by: SauronTheMage on 22/11/2005 07:18:55 Selling Timecodes for ISK is against EULA IIRC, otherwise I would be doing it also. I'm an affiliate selling 30 & 90 day timecards (need to re-order another batch in).

Sauron, it is not, plenty of people sell them. I am having your post removed. Moderators patrol this forum, and anything against EULA would have me banned.
CCP has allowed this for the past month, so ner :P

Of course they can't. Buying timecodes for isk (or being scammed) is no different then buying something on escrow & not checking the item through inspection first (buyer beware). :)

If thats true what u say they cant do anything why in earth would u even have forumns that are suppose to be legal and safe why not get every single low life that sells crap etc on escrow and let him post false posts here
i think you are dreaming man if someone sells fals time codes they need to be banned and if they transferr isk etc to another character they need to be banned etc no warnings

And Wizo, stealing and the like is part of the world of EVE.
They won't change it, since it is part of the thrill.
Perhaps the guy spelt it wrong anyway, like I said, my worked fine

no, I get that ISK from a product, not from money.
Also, *smiles* I replied to the e-mail that was sent in regards to fraud. I have asked him to produce a screenshot of the error and then I would refund or give another code *since I will then send a mail to CCP asking why it didn't work* these still have the protective strip on them *the two left* but for reasons apparent, there will only be 1 more for sale until he shows me the error *as he or I may have typoed*.
Hopefully he will post here when this has been resolved,
Cassidy

Poor Cassidy, seems your only good referral looks a bit scummy: newish char, accused of Time Card sale scamming.
At least he was really quick to notice your request for referrals..

Really brings out the best (in) people, doesnt it?
Sad to see so many scammers in the game we love.
Must admit I'm glad to see CCP arent tolerating this particular scamming. |

what the heck is this huge timecode drive all of a sudden..Where is everyone receiving the 90 day codes? I'm looking all over for them and can't seem to find them. I know they have to be available to everyone, otherwise that's very unfair that certain people are getting special treatment.. Also..timecodes are like real money..so how are people getting away with selling real money in the form of timecodes (that they paid real money for) for isk?? how is this not against the rules? I want in on this..I demand that ccp explains how this is being done!

Well, CCPs reasoning is probably that by buying a Time code you basically pay for another persons subscription... So while you indirectly bought ISK for RL money, that money would have ultimately finished in CCPs wallet anyway. This is at least how I see it.

Basically what he said above, this isnt againt the EULA because the person is buying the GTC's off CCP then selling it for Isk so CCP aren't losing out.
I would advise anyone buying GTC's to keep records of the sale either with chats or on the forums and not to send any Isk until you have the GTC and it is working.
If you then refuse to send the Isk the seller can petetion you and get you banned.
Also you are not allowed to setup scam auctions or sales on the forums I believe it says that in the rules of the forums.

CCP stated it wasn't against the rules.
Thus, it isn't.

Thanks so much for your detailed answer.. this goes to elgoom opuk also.. Unlike Dark Shikari and his
"CCP stated it wasn't against the rules.
Thus, it isn't.
Period. " type crap answer that has absolutely no value at all. You put a lot of the puzzle pieces together for me and many others curious about how this is all being done. Only one more question... WHERE ARE THESE 90 DAY CARDS BEING PURCHASED FOR REAL MONEY?!?! :)))
