Some time ago, SA got a few lvl 2 BP's in one of the following ways:
a) direct transfer by a GM (99.9% chance);
b) fubared loot tables, or other bugs (0.1% chance).
After the hot flames fired up by the community, the devs decided to "wash-up-the-dirty-laundry", by introducing an event, which ends up in SA having those BP's in question anyway (I hope none of the non SA members really thought they can get with some BP's out?), in hope people will believe that... but will they?!
Note! It's my personal opinion, and I have full rights to have it and speak it out.

But this cannot be because he told me something exactly opposite when he paid me a visit on that very evening... omg omg omg could the Amarrian ruler have a personality split?..

First, j0sephine, I don't wanna know what a man is ready to tell, when he tries to get into the woman's bed, so I'll keep it up to your own affairs with the Emperor. I'm myself up to the formal and remote communications only...
As for the original topic, nobody can proof I'm wrong in my theories, but the devs themselves and high ranked SA representatives (and among the last ones, the only one I'd somewhat beleive is Trigger).

On the other hand, no-one can prove you right either, apart from the devs.
Absence of tangible evidence does not default something to being 'true'.
