1) those rare times where there are more mod/dev posts than players...
2) the ability to quickly write 1) so it gets in straight after the devs, then use the edit function to write 2)
3) mining and production etc - great concept
4) test server - had my first PvP experience on there yesterday.

1. Devs that actually RESPOND with real answers instead of "ask again, and I shall DELETE YOU."
2. Graphics of EVE
3. Physics of EVE (Yeah, you can get through EVE without realizing how insanely complex they've actually made their engine, but its not as fun.)
4. Time developed skills, no more goddamn grinding for the win.
5. Mocking people like Bicycle openly, and without remorse.

1 and only) The fact that it's a rich geopolitical (okay, cosmopolitical) simulator, that ideology matters, and that one can fight a war of and for ideas. And consequently, Eve offers the option of waging a war for men's minds - no other game offers that, and the delightful, unique challenges that come from it.

1. No xp grinding. I don't have to worry about falling behind in levels if I don't log in and play for ages, like I do with everquest 2.
2. I'm bloody rich! I love making money and the dynamic player-driven markets in-game are great. Every MMO I play Itend to play the market.
3. The devs actually respond. Just look at all those posts with yellow bars to the left on general discussion sometimes and look at all the devblogs. If something happens in eve, you can be sure there's a devblog about it.
4. Friends. I play with friends and it's great :D.

1. No level grind.. do what you want and feel at the moment, while still progressing
2. PvP.. EVE is the only game I got adrenaline shakes from (still happens sometime)
3. Friends!
4. It's MMO Elite, populated by (a high percentage) of mature players and developed by a company that cares more about the game than money.. what else would I play

I just love the game to no end. My big hurdle was I hated pvp, but now I'm hooked like a junkie.
