...if it allowed CCP to hire more programmers?
My answer is yes, because it would allow them to split more dev power soley on certain tasks. Like some devs could concentrate on just fixing bugs, some working on optimizations, and some working on lag and load balancing.
but then again too many cooks in the kitchen might burn the cake..what do you think?

Depends what they were working on really, it seems as though they are doing a pretty good job atm, plus they are getting in more staff after their move.
The aspects of the game I currently use are completely void of any attention (those being mining, production, R&D) are very unlikely to get any more attention from new programmers so i'd say no.
On the other hand, if they had a bunch of people to give us (of the productive play type) some more content qaurterly or whenever there is a patch then i'd say yes.

No need for a poll or the extra cash on the monthly subscription rate, more Devs will be hired on in the very near future. One of the last hurdles, an entirely too small building to house the current team, has been cleared. We just need to get settled in. Once that happens, new Devs will soon follow.
Postings will be made on the CCP Games Jobs page when we begin and announcements will also be made in the usual locations.

Good to hear, though I don't think that EVE is lacking in content, 2 free expansions is more than enough to placate me for a long time.

No, I wouldn't.
With the opening of the Chinese and SE Asian market, there should be no need to raise subscription rates. The influx of cash should be enough to cover new employees.
Just my 2 cents.

Only naive project managers try to make projects get done faster by adding more programmers. It actually tends to make the project later.

Sorry, there's going to be only one candidate for that one. Not you.
Anyways, I agree with that other guy. And Oveur said it too, if the playerbase would double he'd be able to hire whatever he needed.
Well, enter chinese server, double count should be much of an issue once that's running. _______________________________________________

Post pics of the new building, please! Before(old) and After(new) shots. Would give us, players, an idea at how much larger the CCP is planning to be.

Sure :p. I don't pay for it anyway. Generous dads ftw \o/ I have this crazy idea of trying to join CCP when I finish my Masters degree in Computer Science but I know it'll never happen. ^^;. They'd never hire me.
