I ran into some trouble and deleted a mergerd character. I just want to recreate it, but seem unable to do so as I am unable to select any characters. If I recall correctly, this was don by clicking on the portraits? Nothing I do seems to be able to select a character.
Is there something I am doing wrong or is there a general problem with merging characters?

I have had problems getting data from the api for the last couple of days.
when I refresh api data I get this error
Warning: file_get_contents(https://api.eveonline.com/eve/ConquerableStationList.xml.aspx?): failed to open stream: No route to host in /var/www/war/EVE-Profit/include/api.php on line 21

There seems to be an unexpected error (ohh, so this was not an expetced error!? - idiot!) and I cannot fetch the API information for some reason (no internet connection to http://api.eve-online.com/!?)
If you are lucky maybe CCP has some information about it on their EVE-Online website?
You can also check out Chribbas EVE-Online Status monitor.
If not results on those pages please report this as an error on the bugs page.

well as of yesterday it seems down to me also. whats odd is that there is no error it just searches over and over never loading anything. |

For a couple of days EVE Profit is not working for me. I get the login screen but never enter the aplication, it just keep looking for it.

If by give it a kick you mean start looking for a new host, then yes I'm going to kick it so hard.
The server data center went down due to a power routing issue. It has since been resolved but my server did not seem to start up. At this point I'm waiting on the host to do something, fingers crossed everything is back up soon. |

Still haven't heard anything from the host. The news item I read was from June 2014 so it wasn't even close to being related.
I'll try to call the host tomorrow before work and see what is going on. |

Sorry for lack of updates, I have been modestly distracted with some other things. The server itself is getting automatically suspended which is really making this difficult.
There appears to be some form of DoS software on the server which is executing when the server starts up. After 3 minutes of me working on it tonight the server was automatically suspended. I've asked the host to reactivate me and disable my network completely if I can access it through the server management software. If they can't I'll just drop all connections except my own when I boot the server up.
Once I have access I'm going to close the server off in the firewall and only allow myself access so that I can work on cleaning the server up. In my short time today I was able to at least have a few scripts run that scanned the system and stored that information(thank you host for using SSD). |
