This has been as being staged as an event for the players and their corporations.
The events will unfold at various locations in space to balance the distribution. There is no favouritism on the dev part to any special corporation.
The location for yesterday's slaughter was picked as it required an effort on the player's account to organize, deal and communicate amongst themselves, both on a personal level and on a corporate level, often revealing the true colours of people and corps, be it loyalty or treachery.
I think we can guess what the Jovians will drop in Stain.
Perhaps pirates in Crielere will also drop them?

welp I'm gonna be the big man here and apologize for telling others they needed to read about what happened before commenting, when in fact I like many others were sucked into the rumors as well.
And I am not usually one to get fooled by a rumor. In rl I'll go to that person a rumor is about and ask them directly. But in this case we really don't have that opportunity, especially when it's a weekend and the devs aren't around to explain. Further, there is a level of distrust between the general player base and TTI so even if every TTI member came on the boards and denied it, we still wouldn't believe them.
So to anyone who I told to read the facts, well I apologize.

but...where was the roleplay in the first 2 miner 2 BP's?
We have heard nothing of that.
Getting our hands on the BP's in Stain is possibly going to cost WELL over 1 billion isk in ships/equipment....what did it cost the first 2 receivers?
Both in terms of effort and losses.
