It should play fine, may need to update the drivers for it though.
I run eve on an ATi 9600m and yours is several magnitudes faster than mine.

Do you quite seriously think that a 200M is faster than a 9600M? - Proud member of the [23].

Eve will run reasonably well on it provided you're not too demanding, but that may not be the case for long. The developers are in the process of updating Eve's graphics to place more of a load on the graphics card and less on the CPU, and a 'not really a graphics chip' device like the Radeon Xpress will have a hard time coping with that.
Look for a laptop that has a real graphics chip. Something like a Radeon X700 or a GeForce 6200.

Yes. Anything made in the past 5 years other than SIS or Intel should play it fine. - Proud member of the [23].

It's a "yes, but don't come crying to us in six months when your shiny new laptop can't play Eve anymore"

I use my laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500, on a P4 M 2 Ghz, 1 gig of ram, and while it's not the fastest way to play, it's useable but not blazing. Right now Eve is more cpu bound, but as other posters pointed out, future rewrites will probably take advantage of the graphics processors more, and such systems will be lacking in a big way.

dont worry about the graphic rewrites, as those come in, those of us with older cards will just look the same as always. its easy to seperate out the new functions, even half life 2 will play on a directx 7 card.
and i also play on a mobility radeon 7500, 32mb of ram. plays fine, I have no worried.
