Can anyone explain why the Joves would only show in 1 region?.... surely they could have been spread through EVE and not just Stain where its near immpossible to get through without paying cash or getting blown away
Plus can anyone tell me how hard and powerful these Jovians are?.. some rumour that a frigate can nail a BS and that 90 odd peeps from stain alliance is what it took to take 1 jovian out.

As far as them only showing up in stain goes, read the dev post in info central forum. I think that will explain some...
As to how hard they are, no first hand experience here about that.

The Devs have indicatd that there will be several events like the recent one in Stain. They will be "spread around so as to distribute the technology evenly".

My guess is that CCP is trying their best to encourage the player base to break the deadlock in Stain by providing incentive to be there. Presumably, the greed of megacorps will entice them to head to that region.
The equipment that has dropped there so far hasn't been enough to lead others to attempt to crush the stranglehold that SA has over the region yet, but if the items that drop there are substantially better than anythign else, I wouldn't doubt if tensions increase to the boiling over point. For instance, if level 2 bps ONLY drop in Stain...
There are enough people who harbor great resentment towards the perceived arrogance of the SA and the representatives of the SA do nothing but fan the flames, so we'll see what the future holds.

Well, i think theyŚll move abit. Since they dislikes Amarrs and there have been increased fighting betwen Minmatar and Amarr...my guess, theyŚll do some damage with the minmatar in a soon future. __________________________________________________________ |

Its a rogue unit, not an invasion fleet. Its not an official strong dislike of Amarr, but only the hatred of an Admiral unable to coup with the ending of a war that occured two centuries ago. Officially Jove ambassadors have noted the issue at hand is only an infected handful of persons. Lay your heads down and rest, and cease to worry over this little news event.
The concern here should be the disease. The Jove disease causes severe depression followed by death in a few days or weeks... where this aggression came from seems to be totally opposite of the Jove disease. The talk of this group being infected by the Jove disease is surely false.

Anyone who's watched Blackadder will notice striking similarities with the poison that the Scarlet Pimpernel uses.
I think we've had the happy period, and the sad period, now we're watching him jump into a corner before dying. "You go to certain death" "All death is certain" |
