Edited by: Rod Blaine on 27/11/2005 20:16:47 You have to download mIRC or any other IRC client.
It's a chat program used widely by the eve community as well as by Eve bughunters and sometimes devs.
Once downloadeed and installed, go the the server dtails window and add a new server withthe following adress:
irc.coldfront.net
Then once connected to that server type in the server window:
/j #eve-chaos
Once in that channel, ask for a bughunter and discuss your issue (which will be bug or singularity server related I guess) with him/her. _______________________________________________

If you don't like Mirc, try XChat.

rofl, I would put forward that if this is the case, something may be amiss with the usage of your communicative skills...
In other words, why ban you from irc if you remained friendly ?
If it didn't work, try a nicely worded and friendly forum post in the game development section of this forum explaining you predicament, it might very well get an answer from a dev or bughunter given some time. _______________________________________________

Coldfront is an IRC network that is not related to CCP, they are just using the channels. Coldfront might have banned you because you have an open proxy or a virus. In any case the bug forums might be a better place to get in contact with a bug hunter. Don't forget to let them know you can't access IRC _ ____ _______ _________________________________________________________

There are certain people, not you of course, that should take the end of this conversation to heart,
"Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff your computer came in?"
"Well, yes. I keep them in the closet."
"Good! Go get them and unplug your system and pack it up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from."
"Really! Is it that bad?"
"Yes, I'm afraid it is."
"Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them?"
"Tell them you're too stupid to own a computer."

Since mIRC is giving you problems you can just use the Coldfront IRC applet on Coldfront's Website. The irc applet is located here
Just enter your nickname and click connect. After you join just type /j #eve-chaos that will join you to the chaos channel and you can speak to a bug hunter.
You can ask for irc help in the help channel which you will automatically be in when you join the coldfront server.
I have locked the thread for now as this same issue has been posted 2 times already (and locked). If you have further questions please e-mail us.
