I wonder what people think of the current ecm changes on test server? :P witg 4 ecm arrays I get 111 sensor strength on my dominix, if changes stay I wonder whatg people will think of the changes and impact on the tran server
I, myself, look forward to these changes as you have an option to have some defense aganist jamming and haven't looked into it much if they are boosting jamming at the same time?

If someone wants to dedicate 4 of their mid slots to prevent getting jammed, they probably should have a damn good chance at never ever getting jammed.
The eccm changes are needed drastically, since at this time there is little decent protection vs any person with a jammer. The current arrays are laughable, the lows are pretty much useless, and anyone with a racial is going to pretty much make you useless with 1 module.
So far the new math looks good, but will have to do some more testing on Sisi to see how it will work out.

I fit two eccm and two ecm's on my scorp on test server then warped to ffa and had a scorp and raven try to jam me, they failed, i had a sensor strength of 94.
EW was not broken, due to the probability of it failing. Hopefully the changes will get toned down. ---------------------------------------------

The chance to jam you with a single racial in a scorp is still 10% with 111 sensor. Not that high, but as the scorp is now trying to jam a ship with a setup that is anti-scorp I don't think it matters. Dampners and tracking disruptors still work no matter the sensor strength.

Most ships that fit 3-4 eecm mods are going to be killing their overall setup horribly. Shield tankers will nerf their defense horribly, armor tankers will suffer from horrid cap recharing, no mwd, no ab...etc.
If you want to be safe from a scrop jamming you at the expensive of your ship being a big target for something els,e be my guest. ------------------------------------
