An open plea to all CareBears:
We must stop at once these moves towards war with Minmatar, fighting Joves and the search for tech5 items. All of this stops us from our true calling as afk miners. We will lose many ships and all our hard earned trite to the careless war mongerers. I beg you carebears, send evemails to Concord begging them to protect us in our time of need, remove from us the chance of harm, restore our lost ships and contents thereof.
It is a time of great worry for us, fellow CareBears, it is time - we must act.
I suggest the following:
T-Shirts with "Give CareBears a chance to mine".
A rally in 1.0 space calling upon Concord to protect us.
A petition making our CareBear feelings known.
If these fail i suggest a more radical approach - a mass evemail to all those pirate corps, telling them where we are and begging them to leave us alone in our time of afk.
We must act fellow CarBears and we must act now (unless we are afk mining then we can act when we get back).
So CareBears, let us unite in our cloudland and finally make a stand against war, pirates, poor roid respawns and a poor market in which to sell our hard earned pyrite.

I fully support your stand for afk mining protection......
I believe that a declaration of war should be avoidable if u flag your ship "afk"
Also i believe i should be able to rig my autopilot to do afk agent missioning for me, so i never have to do anything...

Yes by all means make a CareBear corp so that all know you are spineless miners that will not stand up for what is right, the defense and release of human beings that are without the simple luxury of calling in sick to work.
Send your money to the pirate corps, the religious protectors of the asteroid fields, and your own god(s). Stay protected in your 1.0 systems afk mining and filling your holds full of pyrite. Your mining will only ensure of the necessary minerals to destroy the amarrians and allow us to build home for those we free. Even a simple look at economics shows that war is good for the market. I promise not to attack you afk miners, unless of course you do not belong to the CareBears and are at war with me. Hehehehe. Enjoy your selves but I would make sure you do the necessary wire transfers of protection money.

I would make a CareBear corp but im too busy afk mining and whining in here about those naughty pirates (pvp and npc). I dont have any slaves but as im a liberal carebear i will be sure to release any that i find.
Im wearing my 'give carebears a chance' t-shirt as i write. Ive joined the CND (Carebears for No Destruction) . ive grown a goatie beard and i listen to freeform jazz and drink real ale. How much more can i prove my worth?
I will be afk mining as usual as i have to attend a 'roid rally' - Bono from U2 is making a speech about forcing concord to remove debt from all 3rd world roids giving them a chance to grow, which only leads to better afk mining oppurtunities for us all.

<Finally sick of Donovan, and Seeing that DM's head has been nodding down for a few days now, /em sneaks up to the 8-track player and presses "Eject". With a loud audible CLUNK the tape ejects. Holding my breath I see that DM is still deep in the self-induced-semi-comatose state. Carefully pulling out the tape from the slot module, I see that the damned tape has gotten stuck in the heads leaving a trail of crinkled tape to the cartridge.
Stifling a curse, I sneak back to the edge of the field, avoiding the Concord guardians as they try to give flowers to everyone. Over at the van, I remove the spare cassette deck and hustle back to the deafeningly quiet speakers.
Heaving a sigh of relief, I see that DM has not moved a muscle. Quietly unconnecting the 8-track module and connecting the Cassette module into the Amplifier Unit, I set the volume to 11.
Hitting Play, I turn to run as the opening strains of Becareful With That Axe Eugene begins to hum along the speaker wires.
Chortling, I move so I can see the looks on the AFK miner's faces when the.... oh... damn... if they're AFK they won't hear it...

If you had blown them up you would find yourself in a pod. As all our peace signs are in 1.0 space (we daren't leave safe space..we are carebears afterall  ), the moment you fired you would have been warp scrambled and been attacked by at least 10 Concord battleships.

I resent the term carebear as it implies mental illness, namely schizophrenia, within the user.
Excessive rhyming is a common symptom and you oki doki pooki wooki babytalkers will be shot down like rabid dogs if you come anywhere near me. In self-defense of course since weakness of the mind is contageous.

I suggest the forming of the emergency channel CBAFKH <Carebear AFK Help>. Any miner about to go AFK then can announce it and the newley formed Carebear Protection Agency, or CBPA can come to assure thier protection. The carebear must be kept from being hunted to extinction. PLEASE join, or send ISK to help support the CBPA.

It's somewhat fuuny, but I myself am a 'Carebear', although I have never mined in this 'afk' capacity and have defended my craft a few times from the lone rouge cruiser while traveling, as well as destroying numerous blood, true power, and sansha pirates.
Us carebears are probaly as mis-typed in general as much as 'pirates' are. Of course some of the facts are true, other are myths. It all depends on the ships captains involved. I will not get into the reasoning and the like here, since that is not a good topic anyways.
I just wanted to add to the posters orginal coment of saying you forgot thier slogan and ralying call: "You sank my battleship."
