Its always a bad idea to AP through Aunenen, all the pirates hang out there. ==========

Edited by: Dust Puppy on 12/08/2003 10:19:24 These pirates seem to be avoiding me. Have seen one since I started and frequently AP through Aurohunen. I didn't even notice the famous Mara - Passari blockade
Wait you aren't talking about Aurohunen at all are you? __________ Capacitor research |

Oh yes, they are there! Animator (sorry THE Animator) and me were heading through there last night, ani got hit but I managed to warp to a station. Got there only to find Ghen camping outside. Headed back to the gate to try and get through, never seen so much red, like May day in Moscow! Couple of players were trying to neg. with moo, silly buggers called them "****s"!!! Obviously took a dip in the gene pool when the life guards weren't looking Moo just doubled the price to let them through, what did they expect????
I just hit MWD as i came out of warp, ploughed right past them at 1600m/s, shifted to the co-pilots seat, unbuckled my new space suit trousers, and showed them my hairy a***!!!!!
LMFAO I did, mind you, they tried to lock me but I was on top of the gate by then and jumped!
Poor old Ani had to hobble of to a station for repairs.
Ahhhh, good to get the blood going now and then eh?

The easiest way to pass a moo blockade is to time it when Sesame Street is on. They just can't miss that show.
Yep there is some correlation there you can think about.

HAH! you're no match for good bookmarks, anyone with a head on their shoulders should bookmark their entire trade trade route. I know I do, and I breeze past pirates. Well, thats if Im even still in the system to see them.

Bookmarks are good to have as backup, but it doesnt make for easy traveling. Ywev has a valid point that this patch will bring back the golden age for pirates again, only being able to engage MWD once the non-smoking sign goes off (Warp Drive Active sign). Still, this might just be a bad formulation in the patch-notes..
Only being able to warp around with shieldboosters should make more sence, but atm this is the only good answer for getting out of a pirate infested system. I certainly hope they dont turn MWD activation off before or when warping. -------

Just a bunch of kidds, safe behind the screen from the ass whopping they get in RL if they act that way..

MWD - is a micro warp drive give s 700% speed for the durtation of use, very good for running pirates.
Podding is better than a 20 jump home |

m0o don't demand your loot, they simply take it.
If they were truly griefing, they'd blow your loot too. Just think of them as really efficient NPC's. With bigger ships. .

they add fear to the game+it means that you always have to keep checking over your shoulder jus to make sure they dnt pod ya. I jus dnt like it when you end up running into a system with wot appears to be the enire corp there......i guess they must've been in a major good mood that day

What you see at the gates is just a handfull of us. We have many gates to keep controlled and we like to keep the production corps in business.
Best way to avoid clone activation is :-
We ask you for money if you talk to us BEFORE attempting to run.
If you ***** at us, then we double the price, and so on till you effectivly might as well be podded.
If you Run, and we catch you then ask to pay, we may shoot your ass, or allow you to pay, depends on the mood
If you MWD to the gate and we get you locked in time, then your dead, and so is your Pod.
With our regular "Culling" the Production corps have something to make, with out us, the EVE universe would become stale. We add that much needed spice to the game.
Even us Pirates get chased once in a while, makes it fun for us too.
