So, about that tab on the character sheet, the "pilot license" tab... Is there any situation where it DOESN'T say "Pilot license is in order"?
I checked on it yesterday since i know my account runs out today, it still said everything is fine. This morning, my account is inactive, so i activate hours for plex and log in. On the character select screen, i see a little warning under all my char info saying something along the lines of "Warning, account time left - 0 days!".
Now, the only time i see that warning is not a day before hand, not a week, or any useful timeframe, but AFTER the account runs out. It will only EVER say 0 days, so why is it there?
After logging in, i check the character sheet pilot license tab, and it still says my license is in order. So if it is still in order after my account runs out, when is it NOT in order? When will i see anything different on that tab? Does it change when i am unable to log in, and thus unable to see it? Or is it just another "feature" that never actually made it to completion? It never changes, so it is nothing more than pretty text, there is no code behind it. Another good job, pats on the back all round.

While I agree it should give you more forewarning, you should be capable of remembering when your sunscription(s) run(s) out.

Yeah i'm not worried about that, i knew it was going to run out etc. I just think it's kinda stupid to code these things and give them pointless parameters.

Yeah it would be nice if we had an ingame counter.
I don't know how many accounts that other guy has but I don't know when any of my accounts run out. I think I have one on a monthly recurring, Two on plex and one quarterly non-recurring. And I'm not even sure about that, I may have 2 quaterly. When one runs out I usually just ignore it for a few months. Occasionally so long that CCP locks me out. I've yet to petition one to be unlocked, even though I'm curious what characters are on those accounts.

One thought I had, was that concord don't tolerate pilots without licenses, but what about lawless space with no concord? surely we can get away without a pilot license down in null? If so whats the difference between pilot license and eve game time?
Either concord can patrol / make rules in null sec or it can't. Pick one CCP and stick with it :P |

That feature has as much usefulness than static jpeg image in same place stating "if you can see this, your pilot license is in order!"
