Hi
I just started training for caldari cruiser level 5 am I wasting my time? I donĘt hear very good things about eagle and cerberus. I am mainly want an eagle anyway. For me I think it will be ok as I want to snipe PVP and PVE I would use a beagle setup as pirates round where I am are guristas so I can tank the pretty well in my eagle plus they have the added advantages of being cheaper than most HAC's.
So is this a good choice? Can I insta pop interceptors with an eagle? What do other guys think of the eagle? Any eagle pilots I would like to hear from you. I also hear that heavy rockets might make the cerberus more useful pvp after the patch is this correct?

beagle rocks for belt npcing, and after patch eagle should be a bit better with the bonus change. cerb is currently OK at pvp but after patch it should be even better

Beagle is an excellent sniper (and if fact that's really all it's meant to do) and will run a good shield tank. Beagle should be even more interesting with the new T2 ammo! Anyone tried the T2 rail ammo on the test server?

for mission running a 5 heavy launcher + gist shield tank + dread bcu cerberus can run caldari agent level 4s effortlessly..

And how much did that setup cost you, and what's your missile sp total again?
That's like saying "well my harpy with a gistii sb can do lvl 3s effortlessly'.

Well the cerb with the tech II missiles looks to be great, especally with the new high damage, short range lights in combination with assault launchers. (looks awfuly similar to the assault missile concept)

not a whole lot really
5 heavy t2 launchers you can get off the market reasonably obviously
2 gist a-type smalls is about 110 million, you you can do most missions with 1
1 vanilla amp works, dread amp isnt that expensive, if you can afford it..
4 dread bcu is a lot, 4 domination isnt, 4 t2 don't cost much but it's hard to fit 4..
you get a tank that never runs you out of cap, and enough firepower to kill every npc, luckily guristas are vulnerable to kinetic, and that's your bonus so, it works out very well, cerberus is a GREAT mission running ship
slap on a vanilla kinetic hardener, have good cap/missile skills (okay i have 8million+..) and you can pretty much coast through lv4s with that setup easy..
