First off, I was able to retrieve the general and the rest of the Retirement Partyand managed to convince them that it was all part of the tour. Luckly they had consumed 4 of the 10 cases of spirits I had provided and though most of the cases of long leg roes and spiced wine had been destroyed in the attack the passangers had not seemed to notice.
My client did say that he will be fileing an offical complaint about this incedent but will wait to see if restitution is made.
Now on to the incedent:
I had been contracted to fly a retirement party on a sight seeing tour. When the announcement was made that a jovian ship(s) were being seen the general asked if we could divert and offered a hefty bonus if the party managed to take some holo vids of one.
So we headed to the edge of the stain region and I started sending out hails to all in the area of our peaceful attempt. After several hours of no show by any Jovian I headed back the station to allow everyone to freshen up and resupply.
Once I got the guests back on board my thorax I undocked and headed out. Before my systems had switched out of the station's control I had been targeted. I sent out a hail "Is there a problem? can I help Y..." and my ship took a broadside hit.
What happend next is a little fuzzy becuse there was a problem with the emergancy syncord that was sent to the clone activation buffer. But I seem to remember broad casting that I was on a peaceful mission and that i had talked to others of his corp and...
The last thing I remeber is him saying that i was a derilic before waking up.

Sh*t does indeed seem to happen a lot around you guys...
From everyone's heroes to everyone's favourite hate objects in a couple of weeks, i must say i'm impressed with your PR work. Or is that "work" in the general term. I dunno.

The guy apologised, and from the quote is prepared to pay for the damage.
The incident happened near Stain - a known dangerous area.
Either the guy was Stain and it was a legal kill, or he wasn't SA and should have been more careful in that area regardless of our presence.
We don't PK, we are at war. Incidents happen.
There are plenty of corps pirating daily at the moment, and I keep reading the same reports of a single incident involving a RUS member who has already admitted it was an accident. fs.

You know most people don't pod a derilick on the off chance they might no like who is in it.
I believe the post is making the point that he was promised a new ship some days ago - and is still waiting for it.

he was promised a new ship yesterday ( being it happend yesterday ) I will shoot a derelic for the simple fact Im not gonna look in the info to see who it is and lose my ship because of it . It happens if derelic shows up thats not anyones fault but ccp . these things shouldnt be happening. Im sure if u see a derelic u for sure have ur guards up. Besides, I am pretty sure RUS doesnt care what anyone thinks as we know our intentions and will act on them.I will say this for the last time though . RUS is what it is we never claimed to be good, but we never had intentions of being bad. If you fire on us u will get fired back upon. if u dont bother us we wont bother u. Unless we are at war with u. By the way when ur in war **** does happen.

He is lucky it wasn't a m0o firing on the ship, you would have lost it, and not got a replacement.

Well since the derilict bug is so common, and the amount of time RUS spends jumping in and out of stations - just how how often do you guys blow each other away? (and is this the reason why your kill count is so much higher than we think it should be?).

Ug! Me RUS! Me not able to click "show info" in the 7(ish) seconds it takes my battleship to target! Me sat at safe docking range, but me no risk losing ship! Ug!

Hmm... I wonder what a mess if was a Stain Alliance member that shoot him down...
Maybe I heard the words "Stain=Pirates" one time too much, I'd like to know what ppl will say now. Bug or not, if u shoot before asking u're wrong, while I heard (damn how many rumors I hear ) SA alwais ask first.

Yes Xane all the Spiced wine was a great year from the emperorĘs own private vineyard, it was truly a waste.
Though I did not get the bonus, (the item will be available after the patch anyway) I did complete the mission so received 235K Isk for the trip. But I digressą.
The point here is one of honor and value of oneĘs word. I did not ask for my items to be returned nor do I expect it. I was sent a message that was quoted above, stating the pilot realized he had made a mistake and was offering restitution. Actually I am not even the ones most interested in seeing how this turns out, my clients are.

This the kind stupid **** Im talking about knock people on the street cause they can be a threat, for 1 if they come up as a threat and its say derelict , u have a split second to make a decision, shoot or not shoot , I personally choose to look but will lock them , some will shoot the sec they lock. Nuff said I cant argue with people that makes invalid points

I think this whole post shows RUS for the trigger-happy incompetents that they are. To shoot first and ask questions later pretty much sums up they're attitude. It seems to me all that does is alienate everyonearound them.

Ivanav Soulsteal, so you tell us that you were hired by someone to get yourself killed by our members at least twice, and then to try to get compensation, talking at the same how bad and cruel we are on the forums?
You must be following us for some very special reason. How else can you explain then such a strange coincedence being killed twice by our members? Otherwise, seems like we have thousands of members in our corp that cmap every gate and every station around Stain... =)

Umm... wait a second. Raidakaoz is saying he shot the derelict because he didn't have time to find out who it was by checking info (or you can always right click their ship and hit 'send message' which opens a window giving the person's name... just a quick tip). But isn't there a rather large time gap in which a ship exiting a station cannot target anything?

Im saying it happens, so u get over it and move on, does it matter how or why it happend ? NO it doesnt what matters is its over. I talk to many people during my game play and not one is stupid to post dum messages as these. If people feel the need to call us cowards, pirates , or whatever , go for it. I will shoot a derelict if that is what I have to do to protect my self. There is many reasons why a derelict will come up as a threat before u see the ship. If I make a mistake then I will pay for my mistakes and mop up the mess , but for people to sit here make gestures about spelling , butchering the text , or what ever . Well for one I am american, I live in America, born and raised , full blood Irish, not russian , so many of u make the mistake of Rusians not speaking right or posting right is the the lamest excuse I ever heard , Just the point they try to comunicate is cool. And posts like would u knock someone over walking down the street cause their a threat, as nothing to do with the game , neither does being Russian , Irish or american, or even how its spelled . If u know what was ment by it then it's enough . But I really see no need for anyone to get cute over spelling, Im sure many of u are english majors and are saints in R.L or this game and Im sure none of u ever shot anyone nor tried to , (chances are most of u ran if u get a threat on ur screen ) If u cant keep the content about the game dont post **** ,its that simple.
