all you whiners, help make EVE become THE best game, instead of whining, trolling and behave like spoiled brats. Give CCP/Devs what they NEED so they can do what they have to. Dont you know that honey attracts far more flies than ****...

I would like to second Ravens wise words!
This is a great game!
Sure there will be fkups, then HELP with it instead of "buuUUuuuhhHHhuuuuu" he has a miner 2 , and I dont...
Other ppl will allways have what we want, grass greener on the other side etc.
Thats what drive us to get that cool new ³ber toy!
I have had CTDs, cap bug makes a 5 jump trip take an hour sometimes... Sure this is annoying, but they are working on it, they are adding content to the game, they are sweating for us tbh!!
I apploud you CCP :)

I tell you what Gadget - you write a PVP game on the scale of Eve, and lets see how many bugs you have in your code.

But I dont mean to be too *****y - there have been many posts like this before, trying to rally the cause and change the atmosphere a little (including some of my own). But they reason the *****ing just keeps coming back is down to 2 reasons
1. Never do CCP actually get involoved in the discussions or give any kind of feedback even to the most constructive posts on the boards
2. They never listen - the only people they listen to are those that sit in #eve-online all their lives kissing GM bootie
If you are in the majority (that is the casual or even the 'heavily addicted but get some sleep now and then' category) then forget it. If you want changes go whine to their faces in #eve-online and you may get a chance. But these forums are nothing but a 'letting off steam' facility, and until their is some kind of community management (other the locking the critical posts blindly) then they aint worth the database they run on.

Since the Neocron Beta began....oooo....YEARS ago, people have been saying it's going to die, fade away, be killed off by the next MMORPG...etc.
You know what? Even with a team of 15 members, only 3 of them being coders, and a little over 2500 Subscribers, they're still going strong.
Funny thing is, a lot of the people screeching about how Planetside/SW:G/Whatever have come crawling back to Neocron a couple weeks after preaching about how it, Neocron, was "****"....likewise, you get people ranting about how they hate the game and are going to quite....yet seven weeks down the line they're still around.
Neocron and EVE are a lot alike in that respect.

My only constructive suggestion would be to finally implement a working trade system, many players came to EVE expecting one as a kind multiplayer Elite.
Trade has been forgotten.

1) They read the boards (sometimes even post)
2) They have Polaris and GMs for feedback
3) If they answered every post they would be repeating themselves constantly and not developing, but Forum Moderating.

Instead of whining like kids, why not join the adult world and shut up. There are plenty of things that I dislike about Eve and wish the Devs would fix - but do you EVER see me post a whinge about it? Never. Why? Cos Im 32 years old and I act my age. Its what being an adult is all about.
I got a problem, I petition. Thats why its there. They don't get back to you? Ahh, diddums, perhaps they're working their asses off fixing stuff? What I'd prefer is for the dev team to spend more time working on the game, the less time answer the same complaints over and over again.

i have to admit thats its plains tupid to open 20 threads and whine about the lvl 2 miners. people r to lazy to search and the forum itself doesnt even has a search function.
in my MMOG expirience i just found out that if noone is crying, noone is ever going to fix NEthing. in AO we had to arrange ingame strikes to flood servers and show ourselfs and guess what happend? it took them 1 day to react and anounce a fix.
PS: it would help allot if teh devs would announce what they going to fix and what they r aware of. if people know they going to fix it, noone would whine

Well, its a reciprocal relationship between player and developer - at the moment, there is no such relationship. There needs to be one. Devs do need to communicate more (a simple post would do it) and players need to be more patient.

You are right of course - I was being too general - but I think it stands for this forum i.e. the general forum where everyone lets off steam be they newbie or eve-addict.
And I agree they cant answer every thread - of course not!
But you know there is like one or two biiiiggg topics each week it seems (eg this week its the miner 2 soap opera & 1.0 space exploiting by pirates)
Surrrely these topics warrant interaction and a little conversation in one thread would stop everyone starting 10 others about the same thing!
Making the odd announcement usually in locked threads on boards the majority dont read is the worst possible way I can think of to focus people's feedback and thoughts.
