With max titan skill, the sig radius mod with max gang skill and those 6 pirate implants that reduce sig radius you could get quite the sig decrease..
over 70% i think, albeit rare that all those factors would happen at the same time its just interesting its possible..
dunno I could see it happening since the titan costs 60B+ from what i've heard it wouldn't be all that odd for someone to buy the plants (most expensive part there)

Am I the only one that is scared crapless by all these new ships? I don't see the point of them all.

Why is everyone getting so bent out of shape? It isn't like they are going to be all over the place...just look at the skill reqs, then balance that with how much they cost... Sure a bunch of alliances and the bigger corps have the ability to do that, but are they going to be willing to risk it? I am sure the answer is yes, but it seems like people think they are going to be all over the place...they just aren't.

Gallente are getting a double damage bonus (10%/level). This is inline, Caldari get 5% kinetic+5% rof (~10% on kinetic anways), amarr get -10% laser cap + 5% damage (lasers have a "built in" damage bonus), minmatar have 5% rof and 5% damage bonus (again, ~10%). Additionally, the minmatar titan's bonuses were truncated by the forum, it has the the warfare channel bonus as well as the others.
k, but I still think that a straight 10% damage bonus is a bit "err"..
...maybe doing like megathron? 5% dmg + 5% tracking.
oh not wait... XL turrets have weak tracking already
as for the kinetic bonus in the caldari one, well... I realy think it could be changed to a 5% damage.
but that's me -------------------

Originally by: J Ryan Currently on Sisi we've got the bonuses for the Titans. Here goes.
Leviathan
Caldari Titan Skill Bonuses: 5% bonus to Citadel Missile kinetic damage per level
God damnit. Someone please email CCP some schematics on missiles so that they realize how horribly lame it is to give bonus dmg to just -1- type.
"Oh look they have caldari missile boats, fire up the kinetic hardeners"
"wtf my bloodclaws are only doing 5 dmg to those stationary cruisers!"

Now what I'm curious about:
Will multiple Titans STACK BONUSES? I'd say imagine having say, an Amarr and Caldari Titan together, but forget that. Imagine havign two of the same racial Titan together. If the bonuses stack then omgwtfbbqpwnzor.
That cap recharge bonus on the amarr is badass. Throw some tanked out Caldari ships in that fleet (like a 'primary' scorpion with 7 invuln IIs and an XL SB), and you have never ending uber tanks. ------------------------------------

Wow this is like so much better then the 3rd battleships for each race... which a good chunk of the server could use almost immedietly... I mean seriously I can see why they delayed so much other stuff to Give Sir Molle and Cyvok special toys. Their subscriptions are way more expensive then ours.

I doubt even the richest of the rich individual players will ever be able to afford the time or isk to build or buy their own personal titan. The Amarr one for example, only takes a little under 3 million zydrine alone for a perfect build.

I remember when the very first new Battleships were built and how proud their builders were, back then. A pride only to be surpassed by the first kill of a battleship. I expect something similar will occur .

You have to ask yourself tho ... who can honestly be bothered to use them on a daily basis ?
Not like you can just take the thing ratting... Your just a mobile station. Good for taking out other less mobile stations i guess , but not for anything else. Aside from the fact you have to hit a cynosial field mark to go anywhere, and even with the cloaky cynosial field cruisers, the other guys will just run ;)

Ok, after tinkering around with my presto-change-o capital ship calculator, IÆve punched up some VERY preliminary numbers on the Erebus (Soliteur class Gallente Titan) but all the titans are SIMILAR enough to ball-park figure on.
These are the numbers IÆve scrounged from Sisi (the mineral reqs for the ônewö components are taken into account)
Capital Armor Plates 440 Capital Capacitor Battery 440 Capital Cargo Bay 0 Capital Computer System 330 Capital Construction Parts 550 Capital Drone Bay 550 Capital Jump Drive 550 Capital Launcher Hardpoint 0 Capital Power Generator 223 Capital Propulsion Engine 330 Capital Sensor Cluster 330 Capital Shield Emitter 220 Capital Siege Array 0 Capital Turret Hardpoint 440 Capital Clone Bay 550 Capital Corporate Hangar Bay 550 Capital Doomsday Weapon Mount 550 Capital Jump Bridge Array 550 Capital Ship Maintenance Bay 550
Now, a word of warning, I have no numbers for ôCapital Clone Bayö as of this posting, but will update in short order on some more concrete numbers than my estimations. For now however, it is a safe bet to presume they are in line with similar modules like Ship Maintenance Bay, and the Corporate Hangar Bay.
Not knowing the actual value of the Clone Bays, I left them completely out of the calculation as an added value of Zero for now, but you can tack on an estimated value fairly easily for ôguesstimationö sake.
Long story short, itÆs looking like approximately
3,410,573,702 Tritanium 835,759,186 Pyerite 285,719,317 Mexallon 49,723,226 Isogen 13,813,496 Nocxium 2,445,744 Zydrine 1,229,100 Megacyte
Plus of course the missing mineral needs for the Clone Bays (550 of them)
At isk prices for minerals at about 1.5 trit, 6.0 pyer, 16 mex, 140 iso, 325 nocx, 3600 zyd, and 4200 mega, that comes out to about 40,119,460,981 isk (plus again the missing cost of the 550 capital clone bays).
So kiddies, if you want one for Christmas, start marking things off your list, because Santa Claus isnÆt likely give you more than just that Titan.

How much is a Titan BPO gonna cost? I'm guessing it will raise the price on them a fair bit.

presuming there IS a Titan BPO, it would almost certainly be 10's of billions by itself.

with over 3.7 billion trit needed, that's actually over 37 full freighter loads full of Tritanium, so start hauling it NOW! it'll only take the rest of your life to tote it all out to a POS where supposedly titans can be built since they are as big or bigger than stations after all they can't be built in one.

Hopefully CCP will release BPCs for Titans and relevant componants so we dont have to pay an additional 10 billion just for the ability to build them. I don't forsee the "Titan Market" being particularly strong. There probably wont ever be more then 10 of them at the same time. I'm guessing 5 is more likely.
