Could i get banned for shamelessly killing random people in high sec? Noobs, macroes, non-macros...
The banning thing would be shame if it would happen -------------

Only if:
1) Exploit the game mechanics to do it 2) a GM asks you to stop and you don't

Not unless you used an exploit. Exploits in this area include using disposable alts or abusing 14 day free trial accounts in order to avoid the consequences of your actions.

You can freely kill in 0.5+
But you must lose your ship AND take a security standing penalty (lose enough security, and you become "Kill on Sight" to Concord).
Doing some NPC hunting between killings improves security again, but unless you are hunting Battleship NPCs, it is so slow as to be pointless.
The system is intentionally designed to prevent new characters from casual ganking in high security, and to prevent even veteran characters from doing it to much.

Never heard of that happening though. Could happen but still very unlikely. Exploits are very hard to find these days. Thanks to mOo and some very portent killers we don't have many of them left anymore.
Sign of true evolution.

Not to be nitpicky... in your sig, you have a link "My thoughs"... Should that be thoughts? _______________________________________________

Isn't that what happened to Miz Cenuij and the smartbombing apocalypses in Oursulaert? As soon as the GMs realise that losing your ship isn't sufficient penalty to stop you doing it continuously, they will intervene, and MAKE you stop doing it continuously. 0.5 and up simply is not the place for large-scale massacres.

see zombie/yulai indcident. 1 BS with 8 smartbombs, 7 other remote repairing (concord didn't attack those who assisted at that time), very busy gate. Technically not an exploit, it was just that concord wasn't powerful enough to blow up his ship. Indeed, some of the concord battleships popped from the smartbombs
a gm asked them to stop and they didn't, hence bannage.

Erm yeah, the GMs figured out he had bottomless pockets and could keep doing it for months. So if you made a regular thing of it they'd ask you to stop. First offence? I doubt it.

Whats the fun in killing without a challange? Oh I get it, u wanna grief on defenceless noobs to pat on your low personality and ego, while pretending to do the community a good thing by reducing the server load
A warrior fights for the glory of the battle not the end result, the harder the challange the better..

The question is, would they ask anyone to stop suicide-ganking players with names such as 'hjmkiy331', that have already been petitioned for macro-mining?

But what if the miners being smacked (macro or farming) do not petition.
Does CCP need to be petitioned to know if something like this is indeed happening?
Intresting indeed I would like a clr answer by a more authoritive figure on this please.

Not according to GMs. I was told, Alts and trial account characters can be used in Eve for anything that 'normal' characters are used for INCLUDING COMBAT.

But if you just delete the alt when their sec gets too low to enter high sec space you'll be punished.

Alts can be used for combat, but deleting them when their sec. gets too low is considered an exploit afaik.
Edit, too slow :P

AFAIK Miz just ran out of geddons. The GM who talked to him was fine with his actions.
