In a somewhat near future I plan to get myself a stealth bomber (since I'm gonna train the Covert Ops skill anyway), but have really no idea which one. I know I don't want a Manticore -- that leaves three, and I already have Gallente Frig V for the Nemesis, although I won't mind training Amarr or Minmatar Frig V + small racial turret V if there's good reason why a Purifier or Hound would arguably be better. I'm tempted to train Minmatar Frig to V for the Cheetah anyway.
Opinions, please?

Manti, cause it got 3 launcherslots.
Hehe and cause it got 3 launcherslots some people are screaming 'OMG NERF IT!!!!11ONE!!!' but fortunatly ccp apparently isn't listening this time and even concidering giving the bombers in general some more loving :)
EDIT: could u tell why not the manti? It is the best bomber atm.

Donno why you don't want the Manticore. Can carry 3 cruise launchers!! Friend of mine in corp killed several ships during one short solo gate camp in Manti before moving on and camping new gate.
IMO Manti is the most uber stealth bomber once you know how to use it, but again thats just my 2 cents.

Manti's biggest weakness however is its low cap and general fatness, making it unable to warp even medium distances in one go. Good luck if you have to get across one of the 100+AU systems

That's one reason why I don't want a Manticore... The other one is simple greed: the Manticore, being the most demanded, is also the most expensive. And I like to try different things.

Hm, trying new things is to be commended, i just got a manti cause i got caldari frig to L5, not only cause it got 3 launchers and cause i'm too lazy atm to train any of the others to L5

The manitcore though uber cause of its 3rd missle slot has a lot of drawbacks,
i found myself being a scout the other night in one, im slow to warp, even when properly aligned,
i cant warp far, i have warp drive operation to level 4 and a small cap battery, i just barely warp 50 au,
because i have to have that battery in there my setup is pretty gimped. a zelot can enter warp faster than me. i dunno why my setup is so gimped, i have weapons upgrades 4 covert 5 engenering 5 and electronics 5. maybe ill get a better setup next week when i have weapons upgrade 5.
i hear this is common amonge all stealth bomb pilots, but ive almost been taken out one volley by a caracal,
i dunno if what i posted is common for all sb ships, but the navigation and fitting issues are retarted, but thats the sacrafice i make for a 3rd cruise launcher

I know skills are a ***** but I was a devoted Caldari ceptor pilot before getting a Manti so my NAV skills are nearly maxed. The manti eats ceptors for breakfast but use it with a wingman :) When aligned I warp _very_ quickly. Do yer nav skills up, they benefit all ships!
