Hi friends,
I am having huge problems with EVE...
As soon as I launch it, I crash to desktop.
I get to see the outline of the window displaying the EULA, and boom... everything closes.
I tried to Uninstall/reinstall from the CD/apply the patch 934-1128 (downloaded separately), but I still cant log in.
I did the same in Safe mode, as suggested by somebody, and it is still not working :(
The horrible thing is that i used to be able to run EVE perfectly on my machine :(
It only started yesterday, after I unfortunately caught the Worm hanging out there.
I managed to completely get rid of the horrible Worm, but now that everything on my PC is working fine again, I cant play EVE anymore, Grrr...
Can anybody please help me out?

I just put in a new GFX card today and i am now having exactly the same trouble. EULA screen comes up but it is blank.
If someone knows a fix for this i would be most chuffed

Thats annoying....I just did what you did and the game starts. My sound is now in emulation mode..No hardware acceleration.

I am having the same problem.
After the splash screen, when it resizes for the login window it hangs there with no login in graphics and only part of the splash screen on start up.
I updated my nvidia driver to 45.23 and thats when I started to have this problem.
OS: 98
video: mx 440
Looks like I will have to reinstall the old driver, now where did that disk go.....hmmm

I've been having the same problems. I cannot even get to the login screen, the screen sits on white and gives the old "not response" error in windows.
I think the problem, however, is that i'm trying to run it on the laptop and the video drivers i have aren't up to scratch. Sadly no higher versions are available for the old mobility 9200.
If anyone has managed to get this running on a laptop with a mobility9200 i'd really appreciate any guidance you can give.
