The meaning of life is probably to get experiences that would be impossible if not alive the way most people define life.

Assuming that Grimwalius is wrong (he could well be right), then the answer can only be: "To witness".
Because billions of us have lived and died without having any impact whatsoever. So it cannot be to change anything.
But we have all seen amazing, wonderful things. Some of us just forget to notice, as we get older.

I have to agree with Grimwaldus. The only reason we can ask that question is because we are sentient, and we are sentient to help our genes survive. That's what it all comes down to. Why do we live? to help our genes survive and multiply.

Although i agree with you 'Grandfather' on a purely logical level. What you are suggesting is that the meaning of life is to procreate and continue our genetic code. Which is ultimately meaningless, Soooo.

Picking a random one of four to answer to :
Basically, yes. Life arises spontaneously, for no other reason than because incoming energy enables it to do so.

meaning of life is to DIE
BUT more importantly it is to see how far you can go, how good u can become, how much u can achive ect
why does someone play tetris, you loose and cant WIN the game, u play to see how far u can go, why do we play eve, its not a game u can WIN, we play to see how good we can be.
life is to see how far you can take something before it ends. life is to die,
