/me can't play it Any chance of an MPEG1, MPEG2, Quicktime, WMV, DivX or XVid version? Who uses MPEG4 anyway?  Hehe, gonna try and find a free codec. Anyone know of one that's legal & freeware/open source? -------------

Imma have to get me recorded, i can eat 3 of the fire chillis, (the little red ones) easy, hell i eat green chillis on the way home from the kebab shop!!!
Generally people have to be sick after eating these or it can make them ill, they really are hot.

Divx and Xvid are actually MPEG4 compatible since they are reveresed engineered versions of the MPEG4 codec.

Yup. However the MP4 file format is proprietary and weird, IIRC. The others use AVI. - Proud member of the [23].

Avi and Quicktime are basically holders for data, the headers in them describe the codecs used to decode the audio and video streams. Other file types such as 3GPP, AIFF, etc only have one method of decoding with a specified codec.
