For the past few days, I've been having an increasing number of Crash to Desktop issues, but with a twist. Normally, I'd just log back in after a CTD, however, I am now finding that impossible, as the log in proccess sticks at Entering Game: 50%.
The only way I am able to log back into Eve is to log in a different character, quit, and then I can log back in on my main.
What could be causing this?

Addendum: I'm less concerned about the CTDs; those are normal, and often no more than a minor nuisance. What is really worrying me is the problems I'm having logging back on after such an event.

Alot of people have this problem including myself.
I just wait 15 minutes and log back i because i think by then the server realises i've been discond.
I'd love to hear a explination for this from a GM or tech support person or something so that everyone who reads this post will know too.

Same problem here, im disconnected every 15 mins from the game "Connection to server lost" and then i must wait 15 mins to relog.loll
It realy starts to nerf me,this problem must be solved,i cant play the game normaly.......

Lag/latency/packet drop issues?
Try doing a tracert to TQ and see if there are any problems along the line. Myself, I've got huge issues with a router at Deutsche Telekom. It's dropping packets left and right, giving me a 12-15% packet loss, ie - game dies.
I've got a friend in the UK who's kindly sat up a VPN connection for me that I can hook up with. This way I go around the problem and can play just fine.
There's a program called PingPlotter that you can download HERE. Then use that to trace the route to 157.157.139.10.
Keep it runing for a bit while playing and see what it says when you get disconnected.
Ps. I'm using BBB/Sweden myself.

Isayo Arkindra, I play from sweden also. Bredbandsbolaget 100mbit.
Have big 'lag' problems. I have moved to a system a few jumps away from the crowded ones. I'm usally alone.
Last week I lost my domi in a lv4 mission. Had a 15-20s period with no response from server before client stopped. Couldn't activate my dual t2 repairers. Was in egg-mode when i logged in again. =)
Using 2 accounts atm on different comps. The lag/disconnects are not happening at same time on both computers.
Maybe should try different ISP don't know. Been away from EvE one year, never had this big problems before. Not even in crowded systems.

For me, it started on the 16'th. Give BBB Support a call about it, make them aware of the problem. When I discussed with 'em about it, I got turned away with the commnet that it's outside of their network -they can't do jack about it.
I even asked if they could write DTAG a friendly letter asking them to look into it, since they have a bit better 'authority' than a normal Internet user, but no. I've written DTs admin a letter about it, but no answer yet.

I bypassed my router, connected direct to my main computer. Works much better. (Advice from other threads here.) Now I run both accounts on same comp.
Just completed lv4 Angel Extravaganza without same lag as before.
Don't know what the router has to do with this.
Wish I knew this 2 month ago.
If the DTAG/BBB issue also gets fixed it probably will get better or 'fixed'. Right now I got such improvement so I won't complain for a while. =)
