So some input on EVE-Files, is there things you would like to see, are in need of or think suck - express yourself here.
new features (some things I have in mind):
* Uploading of files via ftp and mail.
You simply get ftp access with your account, it will still only allow the selected filetypes and it will only be possible to upload.
Upload via mail, well some users may find it useful, MAYBE. Would most likely feature by sending mail to [email protected] or similar, also restricted filetypes.
* Downloading of files via mail.
This one I dunno about how usefull it would be, but simply you could send requested files to your (or someone elses) mail. Would presumebly be size restricted. But this one is a large  for now.
* New site.
As I was recently told, I did amazing work technically but suck monkey on site design lol, so maybe a look change is due, anyone good a good template or design - feel free to let me know, I need the help hehe 
Also included in the new site would be a search function to find files (based on filename). But also the ability to list all movies, images, pdf's etc.
* Patches.
Also a 'maybe' thought, simply mirroring of all patches, and clients released. I have many of these files myself but will need your help to obtain all those I am missing.

Maybe a daily bandwidth monitor and a current pipe usage monitor? So we know when the server is being hammered?

And I thought that stats in the upper right corner showed the current? But maybe you mean those uber fancy graphs ;)

Its an excelent service wich you provide. and its free.. and as an dutch man ilove the word free.
Mabe you could expand your site with the ways of how we could make donations

One of the main things I can think of that I would like included was the search function you mentioned. But instead of only searching the filename, allow the people that upload the movies make a whole description of it. Like maybe what the movie includes, and maybe a thing for a title. I don't know, I'm tired and don't feel like elaborating, but I think that you would get the gist of what I'm saying.

I agree on a description system. Even a user comments and ratings system would be interesting to see, though probably a PITA to moderate.

Perhapse a small stats area for each user account.
I 'should' be relitivly easy to phrase the output from a program like AWstats, just picking out the folder for example, MEDIA\Turix and then outputting that to a small page or part of the header.

I would be able to get the visits/hits/bw etc if I was parsing the logs as well though, but this thing is very resource intensive so I need to give that some thoughts if so.

Heh, if its gunna kill the server, its not worth it.
Another idea, what about an option to view video/music in a pop up like you had with eve-live.

Top 10 most downloaded files that week. (Probably only movies would apply, since a persons signature might be downloaded 500 times per hour on the eve forums)
Rating system is a good idea.
Description of the movie, also a good idea. (one the uploader inputs)
Comments system so that viewers can comment on the video, don't know if this would be used tho, might be a waste.

I think comments is a good idea but agree that I dun think it will be used that much, most comments will still be said here (or where you post your links).
And commenting I am sure will be more used on the upcoming Video site, since it is being created to actually discuss the videos (same as in this forum).

Also, queries weather I would or not, host corp websites.
Is this something you would like to see/have?
Most likely it would be simple sites, plain html with the addition of some scripts authorized by me (security issues) and of course it would be direct access to all your hosted files, and some easy to remember URL.
Let me know your thoughts.
