Edited by: Sentani on 02/12/2005 09:37:50 i just dont see the big deal with re-making your character once a year or so...
just keep a tab in the bio for 'aliases'
eve is very diffrent from any other game in history...
rigth now its one character for ever... and i bet a large portion of eve is using their first character they made... and most didnt know what they where supose to do...
im not that disapointed with my avatar... its just that i wanted a caldari male with perc instead of my low perc intaki...
and with new bloodlines coming soon its gona be rather useless for all the old players...

The things I don't like about my character are what make him interesting. ______________________________________________

Hi I rerolled my char several times before finding the right recipe for it...
"and with new bloodlines coming soon its gona be rather useless for all the old players..."
It's like that for all the players.. and it's normal to be like this.. if u want a different character then... create a new one.. is not normal to be able to swich races or even bloodlines and still retain ur sp.. and it will never happen (i hope):P peace out |

Remaking a year would result in me:
- Training attribute specific skills non-stop (int/mem, science, learning, industry) - When I can remake, shift the attribute specific trained points to non-attribute specific skills (int/mem skills to cha or perc primary skills like Leadership or gunnery)) - Continue training the useless high int/mem skills for next year.
This would result in the most kickass high skillpoint char evar.
Or, when expensive high-rank skills come out, people would re-make their tree and put those high-rank skills at 5 immediately (like with Capital Ships and Advanced Spaceship Command). The problem with this is that ships that are supposed to be limited not only cost, but by the absurd amount skillpoints invested become available to players practically immediately.
Which is bad, in case you wondered.

Ding ding. You get a prize. I often joke that I took my picture wrong. And I did. I assumed I'd be able to turn my head again in the game or point my eyes a different direction. I had no idea what eve was like. I like how he looks with his uneasy smirk and big nose. Also, I don't ever want to be able to reform my attributes. To this day, I still don't know my starting attributes. I chose miner profession. If I could reform, I'd just jack it all into Perception and Will. Everyone would. That's what makes me ME. I have low perc so I don't make a good fighter and don't learn to fly ships quickly. I do it anyway and it takes time but it influences my choices. For example, I've taken to training all the drone skills to V (Yes, all of them >:) ) and more industrial skills because the attributes for learning them are much better on my character.
The stats I started with have influenced the shape of my entire skill tree. Changing the stats would make the skill tree look unnatural.
