so are typing in chat or in an email and just as you hit enter to paste the chat or go to the next line in an email, a convo/fleet invite pops up but it flashes up the second you hit enter and is instantly rejected.
you dont know who it was that wanted to convo/fleet you (logs show nothing), and there seems to be no way to change the enter = reject thing :(
for those that do alot of typing in game this is extremly irritating and happens all the time, am i missing a way to stop this?
please help. its an mmo and im stopping people i may want to talk to me #(or just insult me) before they get a chance :(

This thing pisses me off 2-3 times per day on average.
The only time I know who it was I rejected is if I know the avatar since you have 1 frame to see the icon.
If you don't have avatar memorized or you blink during that frame you got nothing.
Confirming that no logs show this info just like OP said.
This needs to be fixed, including this in chatlogs would be incredibly useful.

player vs player convos well, yeah durrr of course pvp *le sigh*
adding "player XXX requested convo at time YYY" to the combat log would be perfect, but changing enter as the default key to reject would be better or EVEN better than that changeable in the shortcuts tab

this would be great indeed. I would also love to have an option to minimize those popup dialogs by default. I sometimes direct convo people in space (lack of proximity chat) but i always feel bad about it knowing that they could be in combat and the window could steal keyboard/mouse focus.

its the not knowing thats frustrating, and chat is such a basic tool in the game for everything, im supprised it got this far, unless was changed recently, cant say i noticed it before the last 6 months year time period, but now its all the time

While we're at it, we should remove ALL default enter click thingies, case and point whenever you dock, if you're a director and have a corp hanger in that station the default option is "unrent office". I tend to be overly chatty and twice in one day I unrented our corp's 60mil office in Tama :P

Actually this too, ive done this before, it does not come up as much as the chat invite thing but it certinly would be nice to have fixed also.
