I'll say that I returned recently after a multiple year long break and am finding a lot of stuff that keeps me interested. Tiericide, removal of learning skills, low level hauler requirement changes, skill que, and even the Odyssey exploration revamp are all big plusses that have fixed a lot of the more annoying parts of EVE and made it a much easier game to jump in to and start doing whatever it is you like to do from day 1.
Not to mention the gnosis (if you're coming back) is the most amazing noobship ever, perfectly capable of doing almost anything in hisec to bankroll for your low/null master plan, and I know in my case I picked up a free one just for resubbing. You can either use it or sell it for ~70 mil to get a head start on getting back in. |

Tryd many times leave eve , even bio massed a main.
But after weeks finding anther mmo , i always find out that there is no other "eve".
Longest break in 7 years is 4 weeks so far. |

Started just over a month ago.. I have played pretty much everything over the last 7 years.
Everything else is just boring as hell anymore. EVE has a certain.. je ne sais quoi.. 
EVE is where I'm gonna be until SC is released...

Been unsubbed since "greed is good" around 3/2010 or so. Enough new things have been added and others fixed that I'm willing to pick the crack pipe up again. Looks like everyone I knew from my first 4 years here are long gone, but hey -- just makes it feel like a brand new game.
Turns out I only have 60 billion or so in assets (I guess I must have contracted my stuff to someone when ragequitting), so even that feels like a fresh start. |

Hi, I'm Jonathan and I'm an addict.
I was addicted to skill training for 4 years. On the rare occasions when I let a queue idle for a few hours, I'd be apoplectic.
But after 4 years I started letting this account drop for a few weeks and that account drop for a few weeks. And now I really don't care anymore.
Occasional PVP in EVE is fun. Beyond that, imho, don't make it a second life, because it's a better idea than it is a game, and all indications are that it will remain so. |
