A while back I saw a picture, somewhere, comparing various ships to scale, was line drawings and was pretty huge... A) Anyone know what I'm talking about? B) Anyone have the link?
Thanks in advance

am I the only one who looks at the sizes, and wonders if someone got mixed up with the numbering on the Iteron industrials when the models were exported into Eve?
always looks like the Iteron IV should be the mk I... with the mks 1-3 moved one up the list numerically.

Iteron IV is thicker than the other ones, they are also supposed to be more agile.

That pic needs a pod to add persepective.

And for those wanting to compare to a Titan:
a Titan wouldn't even fit on that picture.

That's a really cool chart, especially would be good if you could [blantant hint]buy it as a poster.[/blatant hint]

Look on the bottom left. When you see that and realize that most frigates are the size of the Statue of Liberty (with the pedestal and without the flat base)

Although I'd like to see a modern aircraft carrier or a battleship to give a little better perspective.

All you need is a few billion ISK and it's yours.
In which event were they given out again?

I remember I once checked the numbers on that. A Rifter is just slightly smaller than a Boeing 747, and the Megathron is as long as three Nimitz-class aircraft carriers end-to-end.

Agreed...
I think that picture definitely reinforces the need to increase the size differences between the different ship classes.

The drawing is about the same scale as this chart. It gives you an idea how big EVE ships are compared to the rest of the universe.

funniest thing about the chart is that the battle fleet gothic ship is a scout ship and its the same size as battle ships wish they had put the gothic battle ship on :)

You mean on this page? I can't link the full site because it uses frames, but the full link is here.

Yeah, if CCP wanted to clean it up a bit, and correct spellings, I'd buy one for sure!
I'd also like to see navy issues on the, just for the fun of it. And I'd like to see a shadow of a titan as the background, falling off the page.
Oh, and maybe if they wanted to list which T2 ships are built on which T1 frames.

Load the pic into Photoshop, chop it up into equal segments by carefully counting pixels, print out lots of pages. I have a four sheet A2 size of the EVE ships on the wall in front of me.
I'll have one of those big ones please Santa!

actually, all industrials, and even transports are technically Frigates, given that they require no command skills above frigate level (as in racial Cruiser, or Battleship for instance).

so why do they require cruiser class afterburners?

Holy Mother of Jesus on Rollerskates.....
some of those ships are big as hell compared to my tiny little Kestrel. and I thought the Indys were gonna be big, but the Badger is dwarfed too.
at least that gives *this* noobie something to strive for.
