It's nice to see a video reminding newer players that they do not need a shiney ship with a bunch of SP to start solo pvp. Keep it up! |

Good job putting the video together, interesting music choices, but these fights are pretty generic, and also it's faction warfare. (Pretty sure I just watched the exact same video posted by someone completely different a few minutes ago.)
Like I said to that other person, it's a good way to show case the day to day in lowsec, but it's just that - the day to day. Pretty well everyone who PVP's regularly in lowsec has fights exactly like these numerous times on any given day - they aren't particularly exciting to watch. |

And Dun'Gal you are absolutely right. Fights like this are pretty standard but also (imo) fun and available to low SP characters. I put it on YT and this forum cuz i'm actually proud that i finally managed to learn basics of solo pvp and fittings. Eve isn't easiest game out there :)
Also I'm proud of some of these kills because i didn't only lock target hit orbit and pressed F1. I learned to disengage when I'm losing, I tried to fight fraction and T2's with T1 with more or less success.
For example one of the fights against merlin. I should die and sure it was partialy luck that i didn't but i knew that he will run out of boosters faster then i'd be out of capacitor. so i increased distance so our dps fall and managed to rep up at the same time decreasing angular speed (he was chasing me) so when i hit aproach we had close to 0 angular and killed him with 2-3 shots.
At the same time i have to admit that tristan fit i'm using is lock-fire-forget ;) |
