1. Chance to buy Zealot BPO for 5.5bn
2. Buy a Machariel for 5bn for a friend then 4 weeks later they cost 500M
3. Pod a friend accidentaly (cost about 600M)
4. Blown up + podded by evolution blob in 0.0 thinking they were miners that always stayed in that system. (using a 750M apoc when isk actually meant something)
5. Chance to buy Cruise Missile II BPO for 10bn the first week it arrived, thinking it would probably drop in price later and decided not to.
6. Like everyone else with some isk back at that time decided cap recharger II:s were crap and not looking to buy one.

1. Spent the first 7 months NPCing in Empire.
2. Balanced perc and will as the lowest attributes
3. Got implants to balance the mentioned mistake

1. Bought a complete set of +4 implants after spending 5 months in empire mining in a barge, only too loose them that day exploring in 0.0
2. Spent months training Mining skills and getting Tech crystals only to find out that mining barges have the worst speed/accel/HP's so venturing out in 0.0 to mine in them was not on the menu

1. Decided to be a pirate hunter
2. made a joke on TS that i like sheep(scotsman), now my corp mates just say bahhhhh all the time.
3. NPCed in tribute(caldari space) when the Raven was uber nerfed, loot never did sell.
4. read the EVE forums.
5. fought our forums battles.. i have become so hated i am primary in every single fleet fight, not alot of fun.
d solo.

Bought a Capital Cargobay BPO when they came out.
Trained all missile skills to 4 and 5, then trained all new missile skills to the same high levals. Still ****ed about the nerf.

1. Not training learning skills the first month in game.
2. Tried to redock after my ship went pop instead of warping off with my alt losing her implants to a 150km Sniping Machariel.
3. Trained way too many unnecessary skills to level 5.
4. Didn't train enough of the proper skills to level 5.
5. Went for an "all arounder" instead of "specialized" with my main. (works out well now, but was touchy for a while)

First big mistake of Eve... I JOINED THE SHATTERED STAR CONFEDERATION!!... quit Eve
Then after they got their a$$e$ handed to em by m0o, I started playing Eve again... and made the mistake of undocking in BoB territory without changing my bio that said I was a member of Shattered Star and part of the Fountain Alliance.
I still have about 100mil worth of items sitting in BoB territory collecting dust.

1. after many weeks mining as a noob... buying my 1st cruiser and losing it to npc in under 30secs
2. helping to chase off 2 pesky campers, i jumped into a 4-5 BS camp the other side of the gate.. then realising just as ship goes pop, it's my faction fitted baby..

Not buying all the major isk earner t2 bpos dispite having way more than enough isk to do so, i always thought t2 market was like t1, ie low profit per item.

1. Thinking those freakin' Amarrians actually bought spirits. (Lost about 1.2 million in value of the cargo.)
2. Thinking a Merlin with two 150mm railguns could handle 15+ Rogue drones (nearly got podded).
3. Thinking "missiles? what a waste of ISK!" and deciding not to use them in hunting pirate freighters. (Bad choice: about 25+ minutes of long-range bombardment.)

Went for intelligense and memory instead of perception and willpower.
Where offered a typhoon bpo as a bonus in a level 3 mission but didn't make it in time.
Rejected a dual 180mm II bpo.
Rejected a claw bpo and took a cheeta bpo instead.

1. Took the advice of the online guide and wasted my inital char creation points on int/mem. CCP for the love of god please drop my int/mem by 1-2 each and up per/wil by the same amount.
2. Bought a Destroyer, thinking 'wow i can use 7 150mm rails, this ship should be good', then losing it in a lvl 2 blockade mission that I could do in a Merlin.

Training 3 races' battleships. If I'd just ignored Amarr entirely and gone straight for Minmatar when I needed a ship for fleet battles/instant damage (I already had Caldari battleship 4 skilled), I'd already have Minmatar battleship 5. :P
Sparring with my corpmates outside a station, switching targets from a malediction (which I'd sent light drones after and had just recalled) to a raven, pressing F1-F6, and only realizing the target switch wasn't successful after my 1400mm howitzer wrecked on the malediction for over 1000 damage.

How can you tell if it¦s an original bp or not? And the Claw bpo reject is in the top mistakes in this thread

I've heard from a friend corp that one of them got the agent offer and didn't accept it, because he thought he'd get a better t2 offer later. Think that's even worse.

Apart from that:
1. Having 30 Harvester drones I bought for 200k each. Selling them for 250k each. Watching the price hit 6mill each:(
2. Buying an improved cloak for 80mill the day after release. Finding out cloaking was useless.
3. Buying an apoc just before the First Great Tach Nerf.
4. Buying a raven 2 weeks before the Great Missile Nerf.

Doing a level 4 mission solo (third time ever) shortly after the missile nerf in my scorpion and see it getting blown up. Spend my last dime to buy my first raven and pimp it up with expensive gear, fly back only to get blown up... again
