The amarr reminds me of those pointy carriers you meet in the "Garden of Kadesh" mission in Homeworld (The stages with red background).

They are making new ones for players.
You've obviously never seen the old titans. They used to be ALOT smaller, more dread sized. These ones are entirely new, with the exception of the Amarr one which is a reworked version of the original model.

Thanks for my new windows log in screen.
I like the Amarr Titan and the Minmattar "cow catcher" on the front. Kind of like the old steam strains that just knock the cows off the tracks.

any chance you could render one with just a black background? a lot easier for weirda eye to deal with as desktop!

these are actually the new ones, added to content just recently ^^;
actually, that amarr one has been sitting in the .stuff files for months and months, along with the empire minny (drifter colony) and caldari (Titans POTW) ones. I guess as they never used it for anything they kept the model.
not that I ever went through the stuff files looking at the models with a custom viewer or anything 
edit: forgot to say, excellent composition - each version gets better and better. could do with a higher res one though

Aye, the Amarr mushroom thingie was there, but they resized it and added the visible hangar/maintenance bay, i think ^^ the old Caldari, Gallente and Minmatar titans are still in the files but guess they'll want to update them later... because they're smaller and not as cool in comparison to new ones, anymore o.O

Hehe, thanks for going through the trouble of converting it.
But it still has the compression errors, the .jpg version has. That's why I asked for a .png. Maybe j0 can do one (and another png with black for Weirda maybe.)

The titan for the Calderi (my faction) looks a bit like the Eclipse for those who like Star Wars fan fiction (it really doens't have the 'wedge' shape, but it still has that cold, ruthless feel like Star Destroyers, (and the eclipse). I'd be very scared to meet a titan, unless I had one too....which brings up an interesting question (almost philosophical because of the size of it). What would happen if two titans (enemy's, lets say) opened fire on each other? I'd love to see it (though wouldnt' want to be the little ship in the way :P)

Ok the second largest minmitar ship (Carrier?) looks absolutly pimp, bout time thos minnies stopped flying around in trashcans.
BTW Bump mapping 4tw? is that your addition or will they look like that ingame?

3/4th view of Minmatar carriers Selak asked for... it's png with transparency channel, so black (or any other colour) background can be added with some image editing program to it, i hope ^^;;

it's added to break up the surfaces a bit, as they don't seem to have bump-mapping in game.. though some of textures are done in way to give such appearance ^^;
