So ive been looking into the gimmicks of eve like faction warfare.
i tried to find out as much as i can on rewards and payout for joining the militia, but im not finding any solid answers.
can someone tell me whats the deal behind faction warfare? in terms of what you get out of it?

The FW Missions can rack up 300m/hour if you do them efficiently.
The PvP is concentrated usually in a single region and predominantly in a few systems.
The PvP is more casual than 0.0 focusing on solo and small gang warfare.
There are a lot of great FCs and experienced pilots in all of the militias. |

can you elaborate a little more please? ive read that FW gets you no isk or LP, only faction standing |

As he said, if you do FW missions efficiently you'll earn 200-300m per hour - fairly simple. Join FW and there are several people ready to teach you:) |

FW itself does not give anything else than standing, very fast to get high faction standing.
But joining FW gives you possibility to do faction warfare missions which gives quite much loyalty points and FW has also some special items on lp store and factions ships requires less lp than in 'normal' lp stores.
FW missions are different from normal missions, quite easy to do if you know what to do. but those are in lowsec and missions might be 14 jumps out and when you open your mission visible beacon opens and everyone can warp to your mission so you may expect some pvp occasionally. But no worries if you know what to do and how to avoid getting killed all the time those are very good income.
Example caldari FW missions are doable with stealth bomber, and with friend those will be more easier to do. And best way to farm those is to take lot of missions from different agents and do those on one roam. One roam usually take about 2 hours and gives approx 200000 lp. Income comes from selling lp store items so now when isk/lp has gone lower 300m / hour may be little too much on these days but income is still quite good. |

One level 4 mission can give enough LP for a faction cruiser E.G. a stabber fleet issue or a omen navy issue. |
