alright fellas i need some help and info im planning to take out some macroers :( they killed me whilst on a scouting op i locked and started to ship scan them but before i could scan these suicide kessies come outa nowhere and blow me away before concord gets there what i want to know is can i pull a suicide off with a rupture and 6 medium sbs and how long exactly does concord take to get there and what kinda armor i should have to tank as long as possible
BTW these are confirmed macroers make no mistake so dont feel sorry for them

Seriously. What will scanning tell you? That they have some ore/ice in their hold, and strip/ice miners that may or may not survive the explosion.
(I'm assuming that you scanned the barges, if you were scanning the kessies, there shouldn't be much there either.)

i was scannin them to c what they had on so that i could kamikaze but they got me first and it ticked me off so now its war but i cant use a bs and i calculated it out and if they have just the basic skills 2 volleys of tech 2 medium thermal sbs should be able to take out the whole group im not lookin for pods but im not sure if concord will let me get 2 volleys off thats why i need times and possible armor suggestions
also if i have another rupture waiting at safe spot and i bring it back to the belt to grab another group will concord blow that up as soon as i warp in?

Not sure how well med smarties will work, please report back
In 1.0 concord response is almost instananeous. Its a few seconds in 0.5
For a tank the best you can do is fit plates. I did it with a domi and had 23,000 armour and died within 10 seconds so "tanking" isnt an option.
Be careful not to pod if you need to keep some sec, its hard not to kill pods with cycling smartbombs.

By my reckoning a rupture will last just under 15 seconds from the time the first shot is fired. |

"Smartbombs for dummies" :P
Right click the smarty trigger button, select "set manual on." This means that you have to activate the smarty each time and it won't cycle. Go to empty space and practice your timing, and you won't kill pods.
Don't ask how I know this.

try a few destroyers with a bunch of small or micro smart bombs, i did the math once and it was somewere around 400dmg 1 volley depending on the resistances, i dont know if a kessy can beat that though, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
