First of all, i wanna say that i play the game solo.
I am very excited about carriers, as i play a dominix with drones, i really like the idea to fly a "fighter" based ship, and i would have the isk to buy it very soon if i keep the current isk earn rate...
Well, there is one thing that prevents me from having one ingame: i need to pay another EVE account to be able to jump the carrier (even the smalls carriers - i hope this is wrong, but i dont think so). Well, the question is that i cant afford to pay 2 accounts...
So i am get very frustrated... cause i cant get the ship i want due to that reall life issue...
I am posting this in the hope i am wrong, or if i am not i hope CCP can change that politics - i wanna fly 1 ship and i think only 1 account shoud be required...
Sorry for all the misunderstanding. Dont get me bad, but i really want that changed, plz !!!
And sorry for the bad english...

This is one part of the game where you require a friend, and there is no way around it. I suggest making a few trustworthy friends is a very good thing, even if you are a solo player.
I suppose you could always try and find someone that you could hire to make you a Cyno field.....but would you really want to risk your carrier with someone who could be a pirate? :P

It's too bad you can't fly them into high-sec space and go AFK in front of a station in Jita.

If you choose to play the game solo, you have to accept the limitations your decision imposes.
You could always make a friend. 'Problem' solved.

Well, i am in one of the big alliances to say the truth. Anyway, i play alone almost all the time in 0.0 systems (unless if i am in a gang defending our space or something like that, for sure).

I have it trained too, and I can fly the dreads... I think he was more referring to the "I fly alone in space unless in a gang" There was no need to troll in this thread, jerk.

If you are really earning isk fast enough to buy one of these and afford to lose one flying around solo then a second account shouldn't be hard as long as CCP continues to allow isk for time code sales. You might consider using isk to buy a decent second charactor for the second account also. Although getting some friends might really be a smarter idea unless these things are released in a totally overpowered state, right now dreads are far from invulnerable.
