Ok, I've given up. I'm either blind or stupid, perhaps even both, but I can't find info anywhere.
What the heck is cosmos? What are these cosmos "systems" I keep hearing about? etc.
I know they involve agents or something...but please, I'm trying to find out what these are since everyone talks about how cool they are.

They're basically constellations where each system in them has various areas (beacons on your overview) that you can visit. There's agents in space you can chat with and will give you special missions (bring friends, they can be a challenge).
Some of the areas are really quite breathtaking.

Ok thanks, I'll go check them out.
When you say challenging, are we talking bring friends in battleships challenging?
They're basically constellations where each system in them has various areas (beacons on your overview) that you can visit. There's agents in space you can chat with and will give you special missions (bring friends, they can be a challenge).
Some of the areas are really quite breathtaking.

Well, they have limits on the ships you can take into some of the zones... one in particular, the max you can take is a destroyer (no assault frigates either). Went in with a couple friends and we were on the defensive the whole time. It's nuts.
But fun :)

did you manage to do that one? the one that limited me and my friends to destroyers...well we got lost on the way to the objective and went into the wrong part of the complex, but isnt ALL of the complex supposed to be doable with a destroyer? ... mabye faction frigs have a better shot at it :/

**cough** cosmos complexes arent true complexes... you can warp back to whichever stage your on so long as you have a bookmark or a friend to warp to.
Found that out when doing a complex in ani... told a gangmate to warp to me and he went past 3 stages of the complex right to the final room :P Was pretty suprised and said omgwtfhax when it happened too.
