Welll thats a shame on sucha nice print someone feels the need to bid up using their alt. You didn't have to do that bud but now youa rent gonna get anymore bids.

Seriously though, surely this is against the sell order rules? A rule breaking scammer got banned for a while and got fined 1 bil isk (not sure what for), seeing as he didnt have any isk he was the in the red and started begging for handouts in general discussion. It would be nice to see a similar example made here so future peeps know to play ball.

I will testify that Jvol is a legitimate char that is looking to buy tech II BPOÆs. He may have questionable business practices, but he is legitimate. I will also like to say that he also sells a lot of game times cards to players which are also legal in game. This is how he has gotten to such a huge jump in isk lately. I believe that this type of practice is what is going to kill this game soon.

its not type of practis, will kill the game. what gona kill the game inflacion of ISK, this game base on ISK, but its do not base on Economics rules, and as long roids, NPC and moon minerals, ect and ect. will apire in unlimited quantatis, its will afecct on inflacion of ISK, plas tech 2 tehnology, wich alow mining faster, wich in they part will afect on price of of ships and T2 stuff. CCP need found way to decrise amount of ISK in game, and found this way fast.

well i can bid, for this BPO, but i would not, as long its so suspishesly puling price for it. who would make bid and bump l8r on to bring this Auction in front, to pay more ISK. if u can stay low and pay low.
ansfer simple, ALT of Autor this Auction, to get more ISK for it.

rather interesting that this thread was made 4 days ago, and the seller (well at least the alt of Jvol's who is selling it) hasnt posted a single comment as to the truth.
Very suspicious, i know if i was auctioning a BPO for 5bil+ i would be checking it as often as possible, and responding to solve any issues like this, which WILL prevent it going for the true market value, since nobody wants to outbid the seller

Hi clueless, mining and manufacturing don't increase isk in eve. Only thing that does is npc'ing and agent running. Transactions where NPC's payout isk. Insurance also would be classified as this as well.

This thread stinks. did you check that HAL9000 . two posts so far.
I would advice for legimate ppl in this thread to ask for reopening of this AUCTION.
Tho I'm not entirely sure would that do any good. Seller is an alt then there is this gamecard seller such ppl are not to be trusted. They allways try the easy way thru life. Offourse it's shame as it is a nice bpo .

Looks like I won.
I contacted the seller a couple of days ago and they said the reserve was "about 10b"... but I hope that after seeing the auction run its course.. and having quite a few bidders bid on it.. that the reserve will be dropped.

If it ends at 24:00 with 15 minutes sniper, then, after 24:00 bids are accepted still (some ppl might login a bit late, etc). If somebody bids at 00:14, then for ANOTHER 15 minutes the bids are still welcome. The person you outbidded must think if its worthy or not to continue... thus he has 15 minutes to make his mind. And so on.

Ah, the way I always understood it was this:
Auction ends at 24:00
Person A bids at 23:40
If no bids before 24:00, then Person A wins.
However, if Person B decideds to bid at 23:55, then the auction gets another 15 minutes tacked on.
So then the auction ends at 24:10 (15 after 23:55).
If Person A bids at 24:05, then the auction is extended 15 min (to 24:20).
Oh well, not really a big deal either way.

If this is the case, then you won at 7.7. Though, i have acted thinking about the sniper as i have described above and bidded at that time cuz i just waited till near the end.
Anyway, if the seller agrees for you to have it at 7.7, congrats.

That would be my understanding yes, although as the auction had a hidden reserve I can't see the seller selling it for less than 8.4 bil now.
