Hello. This is obviously not my main, so bare with the silly name.
I'm creating this post because I'd like to make a friend that is heavy with the non combat aspects of eve.
I'm about 5 months old in eve, and I'm having a hard time grasping what I need.
I work very well with a teacher, and was wondering if any long timers felt like having an apprentice.
I'd like to learn from you.

You might have more success with a high-sec industry corp. They're normally happy to take in new industrialists and show them hands-on how it all works. |

I've tried the whole corp thing, but I feel pressured to be on to do mining ops with them, and I really don't like to mine. Also my RL is sort of busy, so I don't have enough time to commit to a group of people. I'd like to learn from solo science/industry people. I'm very very interested in researching blueprints and doing a lot of science and manufacturing. |

I'm surprised Steve Ronuken hasn't showed up already, as well :)
Tell you what, I don't believe any guru will teach you what you llike to manufacture/trade, and where you want to do it. Try trading first, learn what works and what doesn't (like, nullsec stuff doesn't sell around FW space), and at what pace you want to work.
Also, there's a thing called new eden research, that can help with the labs. Unless you already have the capital to do it by yourself.

I'm not a new player, I'm just new to research/manufacturing careers. I would love to meet someone who is more or less a loner.. someone who is slow paced and patient. I'd like to just join a chat channel with said person/persons and talk for a very long time, and just ask questions about what you do.
I am good about forming my own ideas, I just get inspired by people. |
