I am considering the skill train for transports. I have been goign with minmatar, but I have noticed that the Prowler has given up of the med/low slots, and has, unlike the other blockade runners, an extra highslot.
Any comments on this? I don't need any of these ships being meant to fight it out.

Prowler is the fastest and most agile blockade runner around. It also shieldtanks very well. A good choice IMO.
I sure love mine :) ___________________________________

it's the most heavily armed of all the industrials, with both a launcher and turret point. it shield tanks like a dream, has +2 wcs, and can fit a mwd. if I didn't have a gazillion other ships to train for I would be flying one instead of my mammoth.

The Prowler's marvelous, agil, fast (atm 2,3k m{s, bouncing from gates w. ~1,7k m/s) and you have still about >4k m¦ cargo. A true, good looking blockade runner!

The cool whizzing lights are just the icing on the cake. It's a reallyy nice looking ship, and I'm not going to fly a wreathe so this is the best way to see one :)

Had one for a long time, fast agile, looks cool, and tough.. Also fun when you fire a med rail and heavy launcher while mwd'nd to a pirate

prowler is one of those rare cases were looks and ubberness walk together.
imho best blockade runner ingame, simply because it does that job better than any other blockade runner, while having a great shield tank. Survivability, looks and some firepower in the same package. -------------------

Hate to say it, but they're all right. The prowler has easiest time running around at blinding speeds, with a dcent cargo hold. I'd say the second best though is the Prorator, speed and agility wise, even if it's cargo hold leaves alot to be desired.

<3 my Prowler. In the last 72 hours it's been chased by four intys and run an 8-ship bubble camp. I think it's earned the name "Flaming Ninja"! ----------------------------------
Industrialist. I build it. You buy it. You break it and buy another one. Market domination through ingue ferrogue. (I did this and could have stopped it.) |

Prowler! Uber!
I think I spend more time in my Prowlers than I do any other ship.
However, there is one drawback to the Prowler. It is a bit light on power grid. You'll have to throw in a grid booster to get enough to fit a MWD and anything else.

My sense is that people who fly them generaly don't replace them very often.
Mine is excellent at getting the goods through and living to talk about it.
Prowler's rock. For all the reasons given above.

I love mine. Can fit med shield tanking gear on it Try fitting a med repper on a viator. Also how can you not love a ship that looks like the docs time travelling train out of back to the future III.

So, its safe to say that the Prwler's defense is as good as the other light transports, even though it has one less med/low slot?
